I wonder how much use I'll actually get out of this, but it looks cool at least

I've heard that the movie only runs at 24 fps so I'll probably wait for the remaster of this a few years down the line

There were long waits between the initial announcements and the follow ups of GTA V and RDR2 as well from what I remember

I'm still on chapter 3 of Wukong. This bloody Tiger yin is relentlessly kicking my ass. Every time I feel close to beating him, the next go ends with me getting brutalised after about 10 seconds 🙁

I know times change but it is frighteningly sad that kids into gaming are now growing up with this trash compared to the likes of Super Mario that we had. Worrying times

The original does have almost game-ruining audio issues where the dialogue sounds like it's been muffled through two cans on a piece of string. At least when playing on PS5

This whole situation makes me sad tbh

I liked Until Dawn and would be interested in this re-whatever at a reasonable price but it's just ridiculous the price and issues people are having with it

I'm sure they plan to drop the price in the coming months, but honestly even £30 seems too much for this for what it is

It does seem bizarre that this "rollout" is so slow

I really thought Astro would be unstoppable for me this year but Wukong is really creeping up there. It's not without flaws, but I'm enjoying the hell out of it right now

Regardless of price, this is very disappointing. Considering the price, and lack of upgrade path, it's downright awful imho

Surely a "remake" of a 9 year old (still available) game should be improving in every way, not fumbling as this clearly seems to be. What a waste

I think it's a good one. Doki Doki sounds.. interesting and Dead Space is great

I've also redownloaded the original Until Dawn after seeing mixed and disappointing impressions from the remake

Everything I've read and seen about the remake seems disappointing but not that unexpected

I've just tried booting up the original though and the audio mix is horrific in itself

I liked Until Dawn a fair bit as I do enjoy these kind of games but it really wasn't that great

It really is quite baffling that Xbox have seemingly spent the best part of nearly a decade now trying to focus on getting their own library up to par, spent an absolute f-ton of money on some of the biggest publishers and IP you can think of.. and they still have hardly any titles I want to play. Quite incredible

Presumably you bought a PS5 at a price that to others would also seem unreasonable. Why do you get to be the bearer of what's deemed an acceptable price point?

@zupertramp I suppose but I don't really see it that way. Sony have been setting PlayStation up as a premium, expensive console for a while now. Just look at how they're selling controllers for £200 and Until Dawn for 60. I think we may be past the precedent for that now

If you want one, you can get one. Great. If you don't want one then it's just not for you. Move on.

The way PlayStation announced it suggested they don't particularly care how well it initially sells anyway tbh, which again is fine

I think Sony really nailed it with the sacred symbols rather than just moving generic lettered buttons around like Xbox

It looked relatively easy enough to get the PS5 Pro from what I saw

I was somewhat tempted but just can't justify it at this time. Maybe next year if I can save a bit up over the next few months. There's no hurry

I'm onto Black Myth Wukong after finishing Astro Bot in the week

Peformance on PS5 seems a little shaky early on which is a bit concerning for how it'll hold later, but I'm mostly enjoying it. I am however absolutely awful at it and still struggling with one of the early bosses. I'm sure it'll click soon though and there already seems to be a satisfying variety with the combat
