I am not sure if it is "Code Vein" or "Dark Souls 2" is the worst game in whole soulsborne genre but, it is obviously a pretty incompotent one. I platiniumed it on steam but I despised every moment of it.
I would never waste my money for underwelming PS5 despite the fact that I have PS+ subscription until 2031
I am happy with my PS4 and I'll have a look at PS5 Pro but it is more likely that I'll pass shameful PS5 generation alltogether and I'll check PS6.
I never buy overpriced consoles just like I never buy "scalpers" story.
Hardware wise, PS5 is very weak machine for native 3840 x 2160 resolution not to mention inadequate storage (ssd) and unnecessarly & disturbingly big size and weight
As I menton at the very beginning; I will never waste my time or money for PS5 disgrace...
Better times and options will come in future...
I really wonder if bandai namco ever knew (back then) they are going to polarize people so much with their "PREPARE TO DIE" stupidity... Marketing a game one thing, but (by going beyond it purpose and) starting a civil war is another thing... Maybe they may apologize one day. Who knows... Last 13 years we see everwhere "scared to death" people who rather cut their arms off to prevent to play any souls game. Level of fear is absolutely undescribable. With the very first "PREPARE TO DIE" trauma will never go away for some people. I got multiple friends, they sweared years and years ago, even before they touch any souls game. Because, the undistructible fear which poisoned them, makes them think WHY SHOULD I MAKE MYSELF USED ON A TORTURE PORN? AM I THAT STUPID? AM I THAT NAIVE? I'LL AVOID ALL AND ANY KIND OF SOULS GAME UNTIL THE DAY I DIE. NOBODY CAN MAKES ME PLAY THOSE SADISTIC TORTURE HELL.

I like Edgar Allan Poe, Howard Phillips Lovecraft, J.R.R. Tolkien, Frank Herbert and Kentaro Miura... So, you tell me, how an earth I could be sick of soul games?

When it is components first announced, I said to myself "Not gonna waste my money for this one!"... Therefore, I'll have a look at "PS5 Pro" in near future... If that turns out to be under par again, I'll wait for PS6... My PC is powerfull enough for everything. Enjoying games utterly... No need to rush for anything (at least for me, anyway)...

Especially the title "Quixotic", certanly the best above all...

From Covenant system... Methodical fighting... Poise system in close combat... Almost "Lord of The Rings" size/scale lore... Heart breaking story of Artorias and Ciaran...
Genius map designs... Very deep, armor and weapon upgrade systems.
And oh boy... Those world changing effects of the the rings...
I am not happy to state that (but) "Bloodborne and all other From Software titles always stays behind just because of the rings, even we begin talk about other rich features of Dark Souls"
Since early 80's, I never witness any other game so perfectly managed to combine lore and the game mechanics so meaningfully... It is just ridicilous level of success. Even Miyazaki's core team fell short on every game they worked on, right after Dark Souls.
No need to mention; it would be a wonderful news when they manage to repeat their success with Dark Souls.
