I've been replaying Uncharted 2 and God of War with new game plus. Uncharted 2 still holds up remarkably well after all this time. On my switch I'll be continuing the adventure in Pokemon Sword. Have a great weekend everyone
I do love the Gears of War and Halo series (not so much lately), but Microsoft really needs to step up with their first party studios. Every e3, Phil Spencer gets on stage, and just says a bunch of nonsense full of buzzwords to make people feel good. If they want to get on Sony's level, they need to take years to cultivate and support these studios. They're just now finally letting Rare take some actual creative risks.
While I greatly respect Bungie for the Halo franchise, even though I believe everyone who worked on those games are long gone, I really dislike the games as a service model. Destiny has amazing artists and designers working on it, but unfortunately it's everything I don't like about modern games.
Seeing the practices seep into other games that I love really sucks. Microsoft seems to have gone all in on the games as a service model for their big franchises.
At the end of the day, I see the joy the game brings to many, so it's not all bad. I wish Destiny was a game for me, but as long as it's a game for many, it can't all be bad.
Just finished up Spider-Man. Still deciding on what to play next between Death Stranding, or waiting to see how Jedi Fallen Order turns out. Will probably play some Uncharted 4 multiplayer in the meantime. Have a great weekend everyone
Continuing to play through Spiderman, I'm about half way through. I tend to not like open world games, but this being Insomniac, I had to give it a go. It's a great Spiderman story and some really satisfying gameplay. Trying to clear up some of the other games I'm playing on Switch in time for some of the big November releases. Death Stranding, Fallen Order, and Pokemon Sword all look to be great games. Have a great weekend everyone.
Kojima and his team managed to make a game where I've seen gameplay, trailers, and now read reviews, and I still really don't know if I'll like it. The more I read, the more intrigued I am. I might end up not even liking it, but overall it sounds like something I'd really like to experience on my own. It's a pretty strong month for games, so I won't be getting this at launch, but sometime soon for sure.
@SlimDrizzyLamar I completely agree. I may not even end up liking the game in the end, but I'd much rather spend my money and time playing something like this every now and then, as opposed to just another clone of a game I've played hundreds of times. I'm pretty much just going through the motions when I start most games these days. It will be fun to be lost and a little confused with this one.
@Jake3103 Your review was quite helpful thank you. I for one do not and will not own a wheel, so this was was helpful in deciding whether or not to get this game. This one seems out of my league so thanks for the heads up.
Hah I just pre ordered the new white 3ds from GameStop. I was on the fence about a 3ds or a Vita and this looks really nice, it's tempting for sure. I would think this will still be available a bit down the road lol don't believe it will sell too fast.
My vote is for Rocket League simply because I have had the most fun with that game. Arkham Knight was close, but those tank missions were too frustrating. In all honestly I'm really enjoying Destiny as well. I'll give Witcher 3 a try down the road sometime.

Final Fantasy 7 remake and maybe a little Death Stranding. Who am I kidding, it's only going to be Final Fantasy 7 remake. I can't get enough.
