To be brutally honest with you, we're not sure when Sony's going to announce September 2016's batch of free PlayStation Plus games – it could be this week or next. With the news that the service's price will be increasing from 22nd September in North America, though, the lineup's going to be under even more scrutiny than ever before.

Last month, the PlayStation 4 netted Tricky Towers and Rebel Galaxy – two decent games that weren't particularly well received. The only new game currently scheduled for 6th September is The Tomorrow Children, but given that Q-Games' curious crafting sim is set to go free-to-play eventually, it doesn't necessarily seem like the best fit.

The platform holder will probably dive into its archives, then – could it be finally time for something like Knack or Killzone: Shadow Fall? As always, we'd love to know what you want – and we'd also love to hear what will convince you to keep your sub after the price increase. Try to be reasonable in the comments section below.
