Re: Hands On: Dark Pictures: Little Hope Is More of the Same in Massachusetts

@Deadhunter - I'm right there with you, UD was great but I'm questioning if they can capture that fire again. I'm also hoping we see a pack with all of these "Dark Pictures Anthology" titles released at some point that I can pick up on the cheap to play with all the released content instead of this silly piece by piece way they're going about it.

@Nepp67 I guess I mean more the showcase and amount of articles I've seen. You don't see push square talking about random visual novel indie on steam #42, but I've seen a fair amount of articles talking about this title on various sites.

Interesting to see the amount of negative feed back their videos are getting. I mean, I too am not a fan, but that has to be disheartening for the developers.

Re: Mafia 2 Definitive Edition Patch Promises Improved PS4 Performance

I honestly feel that their plan was to release the trilogy in August (when the Mafia remake is set to drop) and for some reason someone in charge went and jumped the gun and in doing so tossed out months of polish work that the devs thought they had. I really hope they get these games patched up proper in time, but it's still sad to see.

Re: Talking Point: Did the PS5 Games Reveal Event Meet Your Expectations?

I enjoyed seeing Horizon. But beyond that, I'd say 1/2 was embarrassingly bad, 1/4 I didn't care about and 1/4 I somewhat cared about. Like... who starts a show of new hardware and what it's capable of with "Hey, we like this 7 year old game from 2 generations ago, it's going on be on our new machine and take our word for it, the visuals will get a bump (that's not ready to show, so here's a look at it on the PS4) at some point". So let down.

Re: Mafia II: Definitive Edition Developer Working with 2K to Fix Poor Remaster

@BrintaPap Often times it's out of the hands of the developer and is instead something mandated by a publisher or other controlling body. They (this governing body) don't care if it's broken, they just want it out to start making money. Developers often know how bad a state a game is when released too early, but they're working on a contract and often time can't contest a ship date (especially so when you're a small team remastering something As opposed to a massive AAA studio that's bringing in mega $$ for the above mentioned governing body).
