They could also just hire a company that really knows how to get every last bit of performance out of previous gen machines, like Bluepoint, to help them fix it...
They should offer something nice to those who don’t/can’t get a refund (and likely paid full price for it). Some kind of “early adopter” appreciation gift down the line, like an additional mission/series of missions in game or something like that...
Would love to revisit it on the PS5! I was working on the Platinum trophy but had a trip planned for January and spent 3 weeks away from home (and the game). When I came back, try as I might, I couldn't get back in "the groove", and gave up on the Platinum... Still, had a blast with the game and even got the CE!
Does the "quality mode" improvement go beyond the resolution boost? Improved shadows, ambient occlusion, draw distance or any other little details? Haven't bought the game yet, looking forward to getting it as soon as it's stable enough!
Got my PS5 yesterday, and it has tried to install the PS4 version of Miles Morales (I own the PS4 disc version, so I can share it with my son, who’s playing it on a PS4) at least twice, even though the PS5 version is already installed and working beautifully. Not sure why the console is trying to do that (taking away some of the precious SSD storage space), but kinda pretty frustrating.

Can you have a primary PS5 AND a primary PS4 at the same time (both able to play digital games offline)? Haven’t seen this bit of info anywhere yet...
