I’ve played through this twice already. If this was dropping with some story dlc I might have been tempted to give it a go, but unfortunately these changes on their own won’t be enough to make me want to come back and play it again.
I gave it a six. I finished it about half an hour ago and it was ok. I don’t regret buying it as it was a fun 29 hours, but looking at that massive map full of the same four things to do everywhere you go gives me no desire to carry on now the credits have rolled.
I spent a couple of days debating whether or not to buy it. In the end I bit the bullet and, for the most part, I don't regret it. I'm enjoying the open world and the combat. The story isn't the worst, but the constant fade to blacks do ruin the experience a little. I'm also ashamed to say I quite like Cuff and Frey.
Another month with nothing for me. I don’t want to say it’s a bad month, because if you’re interested in those titles it’s great. I’m trying to think of the last month there were some games that I actually played, and I can’t. For me personally, it’s been a poor few months.
@rjejr 🤣🤣 it felt like it. I persevered and managed to beat it eventually. It speaks volumes for this game that it’s the first fromsoft game I’ve ever managed to get an ending on. It was awesome overall, but I stand by what I said about the final boss, it nearly cost me a new controller!
I reached the final boss this morning after 60 hours, at level 124. Sadly I don’t think I’m going to make it over the finish line. The final boss, it’s second phase specifically, is the most frustrating and boring thing I’ve ever encountered. I know these games are all about overcoming adversity, but this is a bit much.
I found I rushed through the last part of the main quest as I wanted to play Elden Ring. It's a great game though and I can't wait to go back in and finish off side quests and stuff...after I finish Elden Ring, and as I've been stuck at a certain late game duo for about two days now, that could be a while yet!
Its 10 for me, without a doubt. I love the bosses, the world, the gameplay, everything really. But it’s partly a 10 because I’m actually making progress in a souls type game 🤣.
Hoping to finish forbidden west in the next couple of days so I can make a start on this! Doesn’t even matter that I’ll probably find it too hard to reach the end 🤣.
Nothing there I fancy personally, not really a big multiplayer fan if I'm honest. However as I'll probably spend the next few weeks in constant state of rage, thanks to Elden Ring, I'm ok with that.
I’ve read a few reviews and one of them reckoned it was harder than any of their other games, including sekiro! I really hope that’s not the case- somewhere around dark souls 3 is about as hard as I can manage. That said, I can’t wait to start it.
I’m one of the 70%…sorry! I’m one of those people who wanted the ps5 box on my shelf. Even though I bought it, and I’m really enjoying it, I still think that £70 for a game is too much. Especially when you compare it to Elden Ring which is only £49.99.
@GoodGame yep. It’s only a bit of wind, you’d think they’d be willing to risk an injury to make sure new games are delivered on release day wouldn’t you 😆.
I finished this today and have to say it’s one of the most broken, buggy games I’ve ever played. For the majority of the second half of the game there were no people in any cutscenes. It really took away the emotional impact of the ending scenes away, I have to say.
I have high hopes for this one, especially after my experience of finishing the broken bugfest that is Dying Light 2 today. I need this to get over my disappointment!
In a way I'm still excited for it, but in another quite disappointed. I remember when they put a video up showing how your choices could affect certain areas (I think the example they gave was being able to flood a certain area with a choice you make, or something like that). Its a shame it sounds like they weren't able to follow through with that kind of stuff in the end.
I sold mine a few days ago. Every time I tried to play it after finishing it once I found I didn’t want to play it again and gave up. Very much looking forward to the Witcher 3 upgrade though!
I’ll probably try planet coaster but neither of the other two are of interest to me personally. Luckily this month is full of gaming goodness!
I hope that whatever Sony has in mind for revamping PS Plus/now I hope it involves a better selection of games overall. For me personally the last 8 months or so have been pretty disappointing.
Well that’s…pretty rubbish to be honest. First game on ps plus for a few months I’ve been interested in and they decide to only give us the part of the game you get after finishing it.
I’m playing it on game pass at the moment and it really is excellent. If I didn’t have game pass it would definitely be worth a buy. It’s also a nice break after spending 5 hours yesterday trying, and failing, to kill the dancer boss in Dark Souls 3.
@lolwhatno it’s the first I’ve made any progress on. I guess I finally got what makes it special. I’ve found it really hard, but every time I’ve felt like giving up I’ve made a little bit of progress that’s encouraged me to carry on and I’m loving it now. I’ve done a little farming, but not loads actually.
I’ll be carrying on with dark souls 3. I’m making slow but steady progress and really enjoying it, even though it makes me want to throw the controller at a wall sometimes😆

@ItsBritneyB_tch I was trying to think who he sounded like and I couldn't think of his name! Now you've said it, she does sound a bit like her!

Re: Tomb Raider, Deus Ex Remakes and Remasters Could Come to PS5, PS4
I’ll take a legacy of Kain and/or soul reaver remake please!
Re: Rumour: New Mafia Game in Development, Is a Prequel to the Trilogy
Great news. Loved the remake of one and two. A shame that mafia 3 doesn’t work properly on PS5 (or mine, at least) as I’d like to play it again.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 423
I’ve been working most of it, but I never got round to finishing God of War, so starting that again tonight.

7, with about 4 guesses 🙈

Re: Test Your PlayStation General Knowledge - Issue 4
6 for me. Quite disappointed in myself to be honest! Think my memory must be broken 🤣.
Re: Is GTA 5 on PS5 a Free Upgrade for PS4 Players? Probably Not
Personally there’s no way I’d pay for it again. Unless it’s a free upgrade I’ll be giving it a miss.
Re: PS Plus PS5, PS4 Games for March 2022 Are Available Now
I’ll claim ark as I’ve wanted to try it, but that’s about it for me this month.
Re: Elden Ring (PS5) - By Far FromSoftware's Best Ever Game
Hoping to finish forbidden west in the next couple of days so I can make a start on this! Doesn’t even matter that I’ll probably find it too hard to reach the end 🤣.
Re: Horizon Forbidden West PS5, PS4 Could Be Getting DLC Expansions
I have to say I think it’s big enough as it is, maybe too big, if I’m honest.

Re: Elden Ring's PS5, PS4 Overview Trailer Is the Extra Hype Your Weekend Needs
This looks great to me. My only issue will be juggling this, forbidden west and having to have a job 😆.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 414
Forbidden West…as soon as my pre order finally arrives 🤣
Re: Poll: Did You Buy Horizon Forbidden West?
I did pre-order it but it still hasn’t arrived. Should have just ordered it digitally, in hindsight.
Re: Hands On: Don't Sleep on Machine Strike, Horizon Forbidden West's Chess-Like Board Game
@Just2Milky I’m waiting on mine as well. Not holding out much hope for today now, to be honest.

@GoodGame I feel your pain, looks like mine won’t be arriving either.
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Update 1.5 Patch Notes are Gigantic and Game-Changing
Actually regret not keeping my copy of it after reading all that.
Re: Horizon Forbidden West (PS5) - Excellent Sequel Is a PS5 Essential
I’m so looking forward to this. My only issue with it is that it’ll arrive Friday and I probably to get to start playing it until Sunday night.
Re: Dying Light 2 (PS5) - Good Sequel Hurt by Expectation

5/15. Absolutely shocking.

Dying Light 2 for me, loving it so far.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 411
The final fantasy 7 remake for me. But to be honest I’m really just killing time until Dying Light 2 comes out next week.
Re: Horizon Forbidden West Makes Plenty of Quality of Life Improvements Over the Original
So glad to hear they’ve improved the inventory system. In the first one I think I ran out of space about half way through the game.

I’m looking forward to seeing ‘you died’ appear on my screen numerous times thanks to this bear!
Re: PS Store January Sale Live Now, Here Are the Best PS5, PS4 Deals
I may pick up dark souls 2, might as well add it to the list of fromsoftware games that I get to certain point and can’t progress any further🙈

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 404
@lolwhatno I’ve probably missed loads of stuff. I’m definitely not, if I’d done more farming I’d have probably made life a bit easier on myself!

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 404
@dschons I think, for me, he’s definitely the hardest so far. It’s between him and the abyss watcher.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 404
@dschons Thanks! I just beat the pontiff boss this morning and I finally get why it’s worth pushing through all the frustration and endless deaths.

I’ll be carrying on with dark souls 3. I’m making slow but steady progress and really enjoying it, even though it makes me want to throw the controller at a wall sometimes😆
Re: Rumour: PS Plus December 2021 PS5, PS4 Games Leaked Early
Been wanting to try Mortal Shell and Godfall, so pretty happy if this does turn out to be true.
