Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Forspoken?

davesmith01

I gave it a six. I finished it about half an hour ago and it was ok. I don’t regret buying it as it was a fun 29 hours, but looking at that massive map full of the same four things to do everywhere you go gives me no desire to carry on now the credits have rolled.

I spent a couple of days debating whether or not to buy it. In the end I bit the bullet and, for the most part, I don't regret it. I'm enjoying the open world and the combat. The story isn't the worst, but the constant fade to blacks do ruin the experience a little. I'm also ashamed to say I quite like Cuff and Frey.

Another month with nothing for me. I don’t want to say it’s a bad month, because if you’re interested in those titles it’s great.
I’m trying to think of the last month there were some games that I actually played, and I can’t. For me personally, it’s been a poor few months.

I reached the final boss this morning after 60 hours, at level 124. Sadly I don’t think I’m going to make it over the finish line. The final boss, it’s second phase specifically, is the most frustrating and boring thing I’ve ever encountered.
I know these games are all about overcoming adversity, but this is a bit much.

Re: Dying Light 2 (PS5) - Good Sequel Hurt by Expectation

I finished this today and have to say it’s one of the most broken, buggy games I’ve ever played. For the majority of the second half of the game there were no people in any cutscenes. It really took away the emotional impact of the ending scenes away, I have to say.

In a way I'm still excited for it, but in another quite disappointed. I remember when they put a video up showing how your choices could affect certain areas (I think the example they gave was being able to flood a certain area with a choice you make, or something like that). Its a shame it sounds like they weren't able to follow through with that kind of stuff in the end.

I’ll probably try planet coaster but neither of the other two are of interest to me personally. Luckily this month is full of gaming goodness!

I hope that whatever Sony has in mind for revamping PS Plus/now I hope it involves a better selection of games overall. For me personally the last 8 months or so have been pretty disappointing.

@lolwhatno it’s the first I’ve made any progress on. I guess I finally got what makes it special. I’ve found it really hard, but every time I’ve felt like giving up I’ve made a little bit of progress that’s encouraged me to carry on and I’m loving it now. I’ve done a little farming, but not loads actually.
