Re: North American Stores Jump the Move Gun, Start Selling Early

WolfRamHeart

Well, I picked up a Move controller yesterday but I haven't purchased any games for it yet so unfortunately I can't try it out. I know it sounds pretty pointless to buy the controller without a game but I only had so much money on hand and I wanted to get the controller just incase it sells out and becomes hard to find later on. I do plan on buying Sports Champions real soon though.

Great interview Dazza! I'm disappointed to hear that this game won't be coming to the US after all. Even though I already have this game on my DSi I was actually considering getting this version so I could try out the Move controls. It really does sound like fun plus that new Metropolis stage looks awesome! I wish that I could play it.

I already have this game on my DSi. While it is a pretty fun game, I'm not sure if I would be willing to purchase it again. Move controls would make it interesting but the price needs to be competative with the iPhone and DSi versions.

You're getting it Slapshot? I think that this game does look kind of fun but I'm just not sure if the experience will justify the $39.99 price tag. Let me know what you think of it when you do get it.

Re: Final Fantasy Boss says Move is Awkward for RPGs

WolfRamHeart

I totally agree with Slapshot, Move should only be implemented in games that can good use of it. There are way too many games on the Wii that tried to force motion control into them. I hope Sony doesn't make that same mistake.

Also, SquareEnix might be a little hesitant of attempting another motion-based RPG after the last game they tried that on flopped at retail; Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers. Then again, it wasn't really an RPG but more of an action-adventure game with quick time motion events. It was a good game but since it had the name Final Fantasy attached to it, a lot of people were disappointed when it turned out to be a completely different type of game.

Re: Release Confusion Finally Resolved, Gamers May Now Rest Easy

WolfRamHeart

Hmm, that is interesting. I'm still a bit confused by the release dates because Amazon has a countdown timer stating that the Move will be released on the 17th here in the US. However, the GameStop website lists Move as shipping on the 17th which means that they could be releasing it on the 19th. I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens.

Re: Hands On: High Lighting Our Move Concerns

WolfRamHeart

Wow, you guys actually got some hands-on time with the Move already! That is awesome! Judging by your impressions, it sounds like a pretty impressive device so far. The calibration issue doesn't sound like too big of a deal. I just hope the lighting in my home will agree with the sensors. Did you guys unlock any trophies while playing Sports Champions or was this just a demo version of the game?

Re: Move Gets a Space in Your PlayStation Home

WolfRamHeart

I've never even checked out Home on my PS3. I deleted it to make room on my hard drive. Maybe I'll re-install it since I'm getting the Move. On another note, I am unable to view Movemodo or any other site on my PS3 web browser because it does not work correctly. My PS3 browser freezes everytime I use it so I stopped using it. I'm using my Wii's web browser right now to check out Movemodo.
