I enjoyed it. Some rough edges definitely, loading issues, audio sync issues but compared to Anthem? Thats pretty laughable. Managing 10minutes without a crash in Anthem at launch deserved a trophy. I enjoyed the gameplay loop solo, thought it would be worth playing through maybe. Then I jumped in with a friend and it became something else, its fun! Its not Destiny, those comparisons are stupid. Destiny is still the ONLY looter shooter service game worth playing. This is more Borderlands x Diablo x Gears. Is it going to keep you for 2.5k hours like D2. Nope. WIll it get me through the campaign and the endgame, possibly 50 - 100hrs, i think so.
For a while quite a lot. I have 400 games in my library and obviously a huge amount of them i haven't finished (or in some cases played - a lot of ps+ games) my brain gets distracted very easily!
But as my ps5 library builds probably less and less. Will be playing Cyberpunk if that counts but ps5 versions of AC, Watchdogs and Hitman etc and Destiny 2 is my ongoing game of choice..
For me this gen has so much closer cross over than previous ones, i still want to finish so many ps4 games but ps3 i just left behind..
@GKO900 the 825 is something to do with how its so fast. Im not a tech head but it matches the hardware on it or something and was the optimum size. Theres no doubts about how fast it is, its ridiculous. And the ps4 'copying' phase won't be a thing anymore so yeah im not overly worried about the size of it. Might force me to finish games and keep the backlog down..
@GKO900 825gb. That was one of the first things confirmed. Game size similar as ever 40 - 100gb, possibly a bit more as things go but theres also compression and the system not needing to install everything, don't play multiplayer? Don't install it then. Also with how fast the SSD is the games will install and uninstall so much quicker it will be less of a hassle if you need to clear, install or reinstall things..
The details aren't too difficult to understand. Sony owns the media rights to Spiderman.. Square ain't going to say no to using one of the most popular comic book characters ever..
