Such a sad day, first Lance Reddick and now Tony Todd. Both great character/voice actors in their own right. Their voices bringing characters in both movies and games to life with that certain je ne sais quoi!

I actually remember Tony Todd from Star Trek TNG which is going back sometime (showing my age here lol) but he was great being cast as Worf's brother - for those familiar with the series.

Their voices truly elevate their acting, whether on or off screen, and for me what set them apart.

He and Lance will both be dearly missed.

@thedevilsjester no announcement just yet - something I was also looking out for.

However, it's aspyr so expect a physical edition to launch later as was the case with Tomb Raider Trilogy (also an aspyr offering).

At least, that's my thinking and hope

@Tatarimokke I would check other retailers. I'm in the UK and can see that some still have the disc drive in stock.

It's going to be really interesting to see how many units Sony will have sold, especially given the (justified) backlash around pricing

@harvy2001 I had a really weird issue as on my mobile it was asking me to add payment details. I knew already had my card on file (checked this the other day) but wasn't showing.

Tried to re-add but then was told - it was already there. Panicked a little but fortunately I had another session going on my laptop - and managed to secure my order that way.

@nicc83 as of right now - 29 listings on eBay ranging from £3,999 to £9,999 !

I really hope people see sense and don't give into these scalpers but I imagine some will.

Really wish Sony had actually made more 30th editions or, as others have said, offered the covers separately.

@AndroidBango I lucked out as managed to get in and bag myself a Pro and a controller. After I posted, my waiting time just jumped to ~12 mins.

Think it's getting worse now - as had other sessions and couldn't even log in!

Queue is moving but I'm over an hour away to getting in and I joined around 8:30ish!

Still hopeful of securing one but looking unlikely - guess it depends how much stock Sony allocated for the UK.

I just don't know what Sony were thinking, launching pre-orders for both the regular and 30th edition on the same day!

Totally bonkers, servers are going to crash and burn! No amount of "turning it off and on again" is going to work!

They've really not thought this one through properly, if at all!

I'm interested but only if a physical release is coming/planned.

Not sure if Sony are doing that, from the announcement sadly doesn't appear to be the case but hopefully I'm proven wrong!

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but I'd like it if the PS5 would remember my preferred SORT ORDER when viewing trophies.
As it stands, this resets to the default everytime you switch off the console.

@Jimmer-jammer I believe it was confirmed that you would be able to import your savedata from PS4 when they first announced the collection.

Have to agree with what others have said, really could have done with Amazon taking swifter action to remedy this.

Regardless, really pleased for those that had their PS5 orders cough lost/misplaced and who can now enjoy a merrier Christmas

Also, I really hope that Amazon have learned from this and entrust delivery of the replacement orders with a more trusted courier!!

Default Trophy Sort Order

So just noticed that the PS5 always returns to the "Game Default" sort order for Trophies. I like to have mine sorted by Date, but when I do that, as soon as I back out and go back in again - it reverts back to the "Game Default".

This works on PS4 where it remembers your chosen setting. It's only a minor annoyance I know but something that was working on PS4 but now broken!!

Another update, another generic changelog.

When will Sony finally start adding some detail around what these so-called "stability" updates actually fix?

I'm glad for the updates themselves, just the lack of any clear comms around what they do is what's missing.

Definitely agree with most of these, especially:

• Cold storage of PS5 games on external USB
• Transferring/Backing-up of PS5 Game Saves to USB
• Folders/Organisation of Games

I can't believe that these weren't thought of as being necessary Day 1 especially given the consoles limited storage and extended storage disabled.

Locking PS5 saves behind the PS+ Paywall is definitely not good Sony!

It would be really helpful is Sony stated what issues the update resolved, rather than a generic changelog which amounts to nothing.

That just doesn't help anyone and leaves it wide open for people to either start second guessing or trying to find out for themselves. Not consumer friendly at all!!

Simply stating that the update "Improves System Performance" is quite poor - unless of course that is literally all this update does!

We're little over a month away from launch and there is so much that we still don't know. I'm not going to go into specifics, as this site has an article that covers most of that.

However, it's frustrating that with Pre-orders going Live, people still don't know what they're likely to be getting.

I know there will be some out there who will defend Sony and say that this stuff doesn't matter, it's all about the games etc. but how many of us would go out and buy something without knowing everything about a product ?

I have been with Sony from the PS1 days and love the brand. However, their lack of communication with PS5 has frankly been terrible.

As for this game, with the inflated price and now this, think I'll pass!
