Tomb Raider is a strong franchise but I feel the developers just do not know where to take it. After the last trilogy Lara should have been moved on. (Yes easy to say)
This is at bare bones TR1 with modern graphics and a couple of changes. This will essentially be the 3rd release of the same game. Yes we have had the same GTA on ps3 ps4 ps5
They appear to be constantly changing the game. What is the point of playing, I will wait till they have finished if ever messing around with. Next they will be adding helicopters!
The development team is clearly not satisfied with what they launched
Or is this a marketing spin to keep the game on these pages. If we update once a week we get another week of attention.
The developer releases very view games, much like Rockstar. It shows in the quality and production values.
The ps5 pro runs effortlessly. If you enjoy single player games this is a safe purchase. IO have already stated this is just the start with a long road map ahead.
The moment GTA comparisons were made this game was in trouble regardless of how it was at launch.
Saints Row…the same Just Cause …the same
Yes it launched too early and was a bit of of technical mess. They have patched and patched.
Unfortunately people just like to put the boot in at every attempt they making to improve.
Sadly this is real peoples livelihoods been taken away by yes some clearly iffy management but mor so the band wagon of hate.
The industry certainly of triple AAA games is going to collapse…it’s started already. To higher expectations promised and expected from most developers. If a game get a single mediocre review it’s all but doomed. It will not make the money back for the studio to keep going much longer.
Rockstar is the exception. Look at their catalogue it is bare bones at best…yes great games but perhaps one game a generation. Almost no company could do that.
Should they try to do that we the gamers are going to get a small handful of games a generation.
TYPICAL PUSH SQUARE When they keep spreading negative vibes about PSVR2 people. They keep spreading negative vibes about PSVR2….people who may be considering then don’t purchase. They don’t purchase then games don’t get developed. Thus people’s livelihoods are lost.
Flight Sim24 PSVR2 is just about to launch. I guess regardless of the game they will be negative and try to tank it.
The PC demo on steam is excellent, the city feels very alive. The handling of the bus is smooth and confident. Fingers crossed for a ps5 pro enhancements.
The warning signs were there…very late to show any p5 footage. Snarky remarks from developer, no reviews before launch. If they were confident in the game why do these things. No embargo as there is no product! Unless the day one patch is the only way this could be saved. A fear damage is done, should have held it back a week for reviewers to get patched game.
@BamBamBaklava89 Agreed, launched at to higher price. However if media creators supported, that generates interest, sales and games. Certain people at PushSquare however appear to be destroying people’s interest, thus developer interest.
Thank you Liam for flying the PSVR2 flag. Let’s hope the game when released reviews well and sells well. In turn more PSVR2.. which will means more game ports. Gamers a win Developer a win Sony a win
This website is supposed to support PlayStation? If a game is reviewed as poor it gets a poor review fair enough.
Why are you attacking PSVR2? Are you trying to end all sales are you trying to discourage developers not to consider porting or making games for it?
Yes it’s niche…that does not mean you have to try and publicly destroy it. Review games in on their merits. It’s comments like you have made turn people away who maybe considering. That intern affects developers, people jobs.
Constant rumors of PS6 and Portal 2, I you going to start telling people to wait and not purchase PS5 or the Pro?
SUPPORT THE GAMES INDUSTRY!
Your words reach a lot of people who make opinions what you say. Your comments are killing developers or just deciding not to port.
Unless you hate VR you should know PSVR2 is a very decent piece of hardware.
I think you have to look at the studios. Games cost millions to develop and many years, all of that can be lost in launch reviews over two or three days. The last Saints Row is a great example, I enjoyed the game but reviewers not so much so its sales did not even take off as hoped and their is no almost no recovery stories ok Cyberpunk. So the studio essentially went bust unless the publisher bailed it out. Publishers can not keep doing that. So went it is obvious the game is not going to make the grade and at least cover costs, the game should be halted. Surely those in power at volition should have seen Saints was not going to hit the expectations and that the game was clearly not happening as AAA hit long before it was released. They should have pulled the plug or released at a lower price point where game buyers may have take a punt at it.
Easy to blame Embracer and they appear to have simply moved to fast in picking up studios. But studios do not unlimited funds nor do publishers. Too many games being released looses quality which looses sales which kills the company. Other extreme Rockstar very few games but usually very high quality.

Re: Crimson Desert Has Pinball After PS5 Patch 1.10, Because of Course It Does
Oooh look another update
Yet more free marketing to keep the game appearing before you.
So you have completed the game are you know supposed to play again to experience all the new updates each week.
I hope this kind of thing does not catch on. Updates should be bug fixes backend improvements NOT change the game every time,
This is just shows the game was not finished at launch.
It should all perhaps come under a year 1 update.
This was on my purchase list, but not until they stop changing the actual, game.
Re: Poll: Is 007 First Light a Game of the Year Contender?
