Re: These Are Dying Light 2's Graphical Options on PS5

@0niguy They haven't specified and there's no info. Looked everywhere.

I'm likely buying this on PC to avoid some 1080p shenanigans. By now it should be standard that devs/pubs list more specific detail. The difference between dynamic res that goes between 1440-2160 and 1080p is huge.

Re: Game of the Year: #7 - It Takes Two

My goty.

Legit helped my relationship. Also my partner's favorite game experience of all time. She's played a fair bit of games previously but generally doesn't now. She can mostly handle dual sticks in 3D but struggled a lot on bosses and some other stuff.

But it was a game that really pushed her abilities and for once I think she enjoyed being challenged by a video game. Generally she wants to quit if it gets frustrating, but we kept on going with this one. She noticed herself getting better and she even wanted to play other games after we finished it, but nothing sadly compares.

It's really long as well. I loved it, definitely the best coop game I've played.

Re: Assassin's Creed Valhalla Update 1.031 Out Now on PS5, PS4, Patch Notes are Huge

@Olmaz Yeah, it kills the game. I can't get into it, it sounds horrible through and through. Fell off after ten hours as the game just feels so poor in quality comparing to Ghost of Tsushima, and really, any other modern game.

Unfortunately it will not get fixed, but the complaints have been fairly loud this time around (Odyssey also has crushed compressed audio, but not Valhalla/90s pre-soundblaster bad) so we can hope Ubi starts investing in two discs for this series..

Re: Much of Horizon Forbidden West Development, Playtesting Done on PS4

@Futureshark You'd hope they would announce that and that this would become an actual standard. I can't play games like Horizon in 30, it just plays terrible to me. I did really, really enjoy it on PC though, after I had put it down after a few hours on base PS4.

For me they can release all games cross generation forever if it finally means that 60 is a standard on console again.

Re: Talking Point: Should Sony Have Its Own Controller Design Lab?

Ridebird

I don't care that much about how it looks, but Sony should absolutely design a Pro Controller with paddles. I love paddles. It would be even better if this had another design for thumsticks so they don't get drift, and receives base levels of quality control so it is not an analog to Xbox Elite Series 2 (of which I had four, all of them eventually broken, until giving up).
