Back in the day I had to buy a chipped Dreamcast to play this one, it was impossible to get in the UK. I hit the bug that made it impossible to complete, which was maybe a bit of karma for me, so I'd love a remaster to play the game as intended.
@CAKESPECTRE999 I turned 53 this year too. Didn't really mind until it was pointed out that my (and probably your) date of birth is closer to World War One than it is to the present day. Sucks, man.
Reporting online sellers who will just relist immediately or wait until release day seems a complete waste of time. The problem isn't resellers, it's Sony creating an artificial scarcity in order to generate hype and headlines.
@Hi569 Thanks for that. For some reason wasn't appearing on my laptop but I went in on the console and its right where you said. Can you tell I dont use the store much!
Saw the film last night at my local cineworld, hadnt seen any reviews and I'm a bit surprised at all the hate. It was tamer than I expected from Roth, trailer made it look like it might be a bit more over the top but it was an entertaining, stupid but fun action movie. It's not going to win awards or be on anyones Top 10 list for the year but it was definitely worth my time.
Friendly reminder that the first game is available free on the PS store, you don't even need to be a plus member. After playing the remaster on PC its not much of an upgrade so if you want to try it out then that's a no cost option. It's a fantastic game, they both are, but I do have nostalgia influencing my opinion.
@UltimateOtaku91 That's fair enough, I would have thought higher, happy to be corrected. It has been on PS plus forever and a day too though. I think cult classic is a bit of an overused term though.
Nice to see yourself and a couple others mention Days Gone, that was probably my favourite PS4 game.
Despite spending far too many hours playing games this year I dont seem to have played anything on the list. I'll have to skip the vote and just be happy my backlog actually shrunk (slightly) this year
I'm really looking forward to this game but that answer describes almost every RPG ever made. They could have just said "you can travel to different towns and do sidequests" and it would have meant the same. It's like saying "there will be a wealth of options to strengthen and fortify your characters as they conquer increasingly challenging scenarios and foes" instead of, you can level up.
@Dobbos my sister is in a wheelchair and plays the first one on PS4 without many issues, wall dodging and ducking gives her grief but doesn't make it unplayable and iirc there is an option to turn those off on custom difficulty settings.
Sounds like FF7R, normal and hard mode for action, easy mode for those who just want the story. I can live with that, its not exactly groundbreaking but it was a lot of fun.
@funkyflounder83 Good choice, thanks for the answer and the story! I was expecting you to say Last of Us 2. I'm cautiously optimistic for Cyberpunk 2077, loved Witcher 3 but there's been too many disappointing scifi rpg's over the years. Still, if any company can get it right, they can.
That's quite a picture at the top of the article. Was he that aggressive and confrontational in the video or did you just screenshot exactly the right moment.
@Rob_230 Google PSDLE that will solve all your problems hunting for your purchased content that you want to download. Has to be the web store rather than on the vita itself but it makes queuing downloads as quick and easy as it should be. It's so simple it makes you wonder why Sony aren't using it themselves.
I've been tempted by Wolfenstein II for a few sales now. I can just never decide if I should get the base game or the deluxe for the extra fiver? Any opinions?
This was the only boss I couldn't finish solo. @LaNooch1978 just use up your insight until you get a player that helps you through it, there's not that much game left after Rom so you're almost there. Even summoning it took me 5 or 6 tries. I find it incredible how different players find individual bosses a breeze or impassable in these games depending on our play styles. Don't give up!
Sounds like the spend £50 get £10 free credit they did about 18 months ago. And since they didn't credit me last time, then put my PSN account on hold while they investigated my complaint for two weeks, I doubt I will ever be taking advantage of another of Sony's offers. Enjoy your free money everyone who does though
NB - I don't mean to sound overly negative and bitter, it was just really annoying last time and I don't want to do that again, lol
@get2sammyb Thanks for linking that review, I'm pretty new here and missed it last year. If you can say nothing else good about Ninja Senki DX you can at least say it entertained with its reviews. Jameswallace comments had me chuckling away. On topic - forward to Not a Hero

@MichaelNau I couldn't find it in the store but just google "unbeatable ps5 demo download" and the top link is to the ps store.
Re: Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 (PS5) - Immersive Knight Sim Makes for a Peerless RPG
@khayl Game aside, that headline is worthy of top marks itself. Peerless indeed.

Re: Mini Review: 8-Bit Adventures 2 (PS5) - Don't Sleep on This Superb Tribute to Old JRPGs
@colonelkilgore I think first one is PC only. Honestly just skip it though, its just OK but the second one that's reviewed here is truly excellent.

Can someone point me in the direction of the DLCs on the store? I can only see the base game.

Re: Sony Polls Players on Favourite Games That Aren't Bloodborne
Is Bloodborne really a "cult classic". Pretty sure 90% of PS4 owners gave it a go.

Re: PS Plus Essential Games for November 2023 Leaked
I got all excited then but it's the wrong Aliens game for me. Isn't Mafia 2 already free on Extra as part of the trilogy already? Seems a bit sneaky.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 500
I don't usually post on this thread but 500 is special, congratz
I just started Ys IX. I decided to give up on my platinum attempt of Earth Defense Force 5 after getting the 80% trophy. The grind defeated me.

Happening on the Ezio collection. Kind of pleased I'm not about to lose the game after investing all this time!

Does free multiplayer mean you don't need PS+ or just that the update is free?

Re: A Big PlayStation Store Sale Focusing on PSVR Starts This Wednesday
@SilentJ No. I'd been watching it for over a year, gave up last month and just paid full price, should never have waited, worth every penny.
Re: How Well Do You Know Final Fantasy VIII?
I platinumed this game a month ago during quarantine, absolutely loved it. And yet I only scored 8! The shame.
