I mean in 4 years, I have bought 2 games at $70. I just refuse to do it becusee they go on sale so quickly. You really don’t need a game day one when it’s reduced 2 weeks after launch. Just wait.

@jt887 I feel like I can’t comprehend why people don’t understand the simplicity of console exclusives. You want someone to buy your machine, not your competitors. So what do you do? Make a game that is so good and they can only play it on your console, thus they must buy your console. This has nothing to do with console warrior stuff, this is literally the basics of business.

@Juanalf I agree on that. I just won’t buy it since no physical. Wish they offered the option, but then I remembered that ecosystem generally doesn’t care about physical. It’s a shame.

My guess is that the free DLC is to help all the people they pissed off by not releasing physical.

Would much rather a dark cloud remake or sequel.

Wish they would put it out for ps5 as well. Get all those trophies a second time!

This is clearly just putting the original games on a ps5 disc. This is why I’m not confident the first game will even have trophies.

@LiamCroft well they do it on the ps plus premium tier. Tons of ps1 games don’t have trophies. So they can do that, that’s why I was wondering if it was actually confirmed.

And made their money back in the first month. If they didn’t, they wouldn’t keep spending that much on them.

Well obviously it wasn’t going to be out this year. When they said winter 2023 I don’t think they really realized that is like a 10 day window lol. But obviously we all knew what they meant. I’m wondering why they are advertising it being on 2 discs though. Normally I would say who cares, unless they are trying to say this is parts 2&3 and this is the end.

Why would anyone think Wolverine would launch this year? They aren’t going to release spider man in September and then Wolverine in November. I’d be shocked if we even get it by next spring.

Kind of funny that the people talking about it are the studio who made their money back on that game the first day and it was even broken. So do we really need to hear a sob story from them?

I honestly don’t get it, but it may be because people have nostalgia for it and played it at the time. My first was 7, which I still love, and I’m sure if people played that today they would also not understand it. I’d be curious if someone is trying to play this in 2023 for the first time (like me) and really loving it, because maybe I’m just missing something in it.

Why in the world wouldn’t they remake the 1st game first? That is the one most in need of a remake, and probably the most beloved.

Awesome news on the open world aspect. Way over done. If it’s even close to god of war style, it will be perfect.

Also while I do believe they have some freedoms, they are still a business and ultimately Jim Ryan will tell them what to do.
