Imagine how quickly you'd be fired from the marketing department if you pitched not putting "God of War" in the title is your new game set in the God of War universe?
I like to think it's always been this way. I get a little chuckle to myself, imagining someone turning on Super Mario 2 back in the late 80s, and having a full meltdown when they see Peach as a playable character.
It's just back then the only one hearing their incessant whining was the empty room. Now it's out there for the world to put up with.
A story that takes place in the God of War universe has the name God of War in the title. More at 11 folks!
@THEBrew right? I think if we were just more cruel to the poor and disenfranchised and nicer to the privileged and wealthy, these things would all turn around.
It's working out great in my neck of the woods.

I don't own a PlayStation, but decided to hop in and just watch one of these. I thought it was really cool, but much like the Nintendo Life side after a direct, I'm unsurprised to see the comments being a bit more negative than I would have anticipated.
Overall though, you folks have a nice little community over here and some excellent games coming up!

@VenomUK I assume it's because it's the GoW franchise and not that deep.
It's the same reason Friday the 13th Part 4 (which takes place the day after part 3) isn't called Saturday the 14th.
