
It took less than a day for Marvel’s Wolverine to impale the competition and shoot straight to the top of the PS Store pre-order charts.
Insomniac’s new game has overtaken Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 in the US and UK, as well other regions like Spain.
As is usually the case, it’s the more expensive Deluxe Edition that’s selling best. The $79.99 bundle includes the full game and a spate of extras, including five exclusive suits and claws. Actually, this edition does sound like it’s worth the $10 premium for once.

The Burbank-based dev confirmed this week that Marvel’s Wolverine is a linear, single player game; it’s not open world like the Marvel’s Spider-Man series.
The title will take you on a “globe-hopping” adventure around the world, in an experience that the studio has described as a “rollercoaster ride”. This week’s first full-length gameplay demo certainly reflected that, as we saw Logan picking off goons and chasing down trucks atop a motorcycle.
