Re: Sony Just Revealed More PS4 Games Than We Have Time to Talk About

MoleZandor

@ThreadShadow This guy knows what he is talking about. The lines will blur between indie games and the other one which is exactly the same as indie except a publisher takes most of the money. The tools to make AAA looking games have been made more easily accessible to the indies, i'm planning to start making a game using Unreal Engine 4 next month after I get my PSMobile version finished and released.

Re: Review: Trials Fusion (PlayStation 4)

I feel I need to stick up for this game after reading some of these comments. Every trials game from redlynx since the browser version has improved on the last. This game is not worse than the last one. Its not a massive improvement and the music is not great and there seems to be less levels than usual, but the controls have improved, the physics seems a bit tighter than before. As for the freestyle tricks, at first I thought it was broken too. But once you learn properly how the tricks are done, you will find it works really well. It was never meant to be an AAA graphical title which is why its so cheap. I would happily have paid £50 for it. With the DLC and user created content this game will be played a lot regardless of the small career mode. 10/10

The thing I am most impressed with is that they allow you to use the right analogue stick to move around the map, making the game completely single handed. which leaves the other free for snacks, drinks and smoking.

@Runkel buy it anyway. I've only got two. This game is great single and co-op. Multiplayer battles are fun too but not essential to the enjoyment. It's very challenging. If you have the patience for difficult games then I recommend it. I bought this and infamous on the same day and have played this way more, even though infamous is awesome

Re: Pachter: PS4's Virtual Reality Headset Is a 'Really Bad Idea'

MoleZandor

NO!!! Pachter can suck one with his nonsensical dribble. They won't need to advertise the PS4 if they are advertising Virtual Reality that only works with the PS4. I think it will have a big market and it will change things.Oculus too. The ps4 has the added reliability that windows and random hardware won't have. Which should help it to be a great place for "Experiences" and "Presence" and additional buzzwords used by the industry to try to entice us into the future with open arms even though its usually all been done before at some point.

Re: PS4 Title DriveClub Decorating Project Morpheus with Tyre Treads

@PorllM The VR headset is not just to replace the right stick, it's for people to feel complete immersion, like you are actually there sitting in the car. It makes the most sense using it in a game where the character you control doesn't move. If they put mirrors in the car then people would be able to see behind them by merely glancing up and left a bit( or right depending on what country you from). Just because you don't move your head much, doesn't mean its a bad use of the hardware.

@Ginkgo the oculus rift dev kit does have all those problems, but sony have been working on this much longer than oculus. And other than weight, sweat and fog they claim to have solved all the other issues you addressed. I think you will be pleasantly suprised. Although even with all those problems I was still pretty impressed with the occulus rift. It made me feel a bit weird and the resolution was shocking, but I still almost felt like I was there.
