I keep getting error codes and would not transfer even though had a lan cable i tried for 4 hours so.......
I deleted as many saved photos from trophies and deleted huge disc games and cleared the cache.

I removed the ssd and safely removed the hdd put them in the ps5 pro and turned it on and waited to all clear then connected a lan cable from old ps5 to ps5 pro and was about 400gb from the old ps5s internal memory and it transferred fine.

I hope this helps anyone.

So do we swap ssd after the transfer process or before ? Will the Pro know or tell you to just after the transfer swap the ssd to the pro from the older model ?

I wonder what time pre-orders open ? Midnight Wednesday going into Thursday 1 second in.
I bet the serves crash and freeze and then it goes back to normal they will all be gone. Then all of a sudden eBay and stockX will be packed to 5000 for Pro and 10,000 for Pro anniversary grey.
Also pro pads will be going for 700 i recon.
I hope everyone goes one and one for only one person so everyone gets a chance and the grey model looks stunning.

How to pre-order ..... Take out a mortgage , sell the clothes off your back and sell everything you own.

@Zeke68 Spot on but you forgot about the Top cover bit of plastic to go over the disk drive thats another 100 please.

700 + 100 + 100 Unit , Disk Drive , Cover Plate for the disk drive.
1000 and i bet they bring out a few games that only work on the pro i hope they dont.

Blimey could get a Steam handled oled and a Quest 3 for that.
I thought the price of the pro controller was taking the P*** and the price hike of games to £60+ the most expensive generation ever.

So about 900 with disc drive and the lid then i bet they will say PS6 will come about about next summer. Talk about milk the gamers.

It just looks like the slim they released.
Its always 1st Model then Slim then Pro then Ps6 or last gen was Ps5.
How much more powerful can it be and do we need the extra power as the ps5 is a powerhouse as it is.
Then one year after people get the pro model they launch the next generation.

Soon as i get enough points i get 5er cards here and there and use them to get games in the sale. Stars has been very generous.

Even though Gears took many many ideas from Warhammer so could this be the original gears but in the future.
The game looks epic i cant wait to play i just hope the reviews are great as many Warhammer games have fallen with stinky reviews in the past.

Its great to have Snk Vs Capcom at last though without having to buy a new geo console.
I like the Snk art style more and youtube videos of skilled people playing the neogeo game are amazing.

Another Friday the 13th / Chainsaw Massacre style game team vs team that hardly anyone plays and the servers are rubbish.

Gears of war, Fable, Splinter cell O.G 1,2,3, Halo, State of decay.

Excellent i love the gears of war series.

When sorting your ps-stars cabinet it crashes often I find.
Or using points to buy a rare collectable.
Why don't they bring ps-stars to ps5 dashboard it would be a lot easier to use and be cool for profiles.

I think its a great idea but i cant leave the playstation alone as it is my eyes would go square. Buts say one is going away for a while and bored as shoot in a hotel room it would be great to fire up your playstation without having to lug the ps5 along.
