@Lavishturtle you, nor anybody else on this site, knows that. He's just a guy running a company.
You know that thing you love? Chances are a terrible person helped in its creation. Maybe they were terrible 20 years ago, or maybe they'll become terrible. Are you going to hold onto that?
@DennisReynolds not....true? The original Baldurs Gate 1 & 2 are real time pause. You'll get no argument from me that turn based is better, but most of the negative comments I read upon the new Divinity announcement went something like "if it's turn based I'm not interested". I'm glad Larian are sticking to what they feel is best. The interview made it sound like if they stuck with the D&D brand their creativity would be stunted.
Not being designated an 'Original Sin' game its likely to be real time combat, as thats how the series started. Would be interested in seeing how they modernize that.
That's pretty surprising. I just finished a DS2 playthrough recently and would never have associated it (or the Divinity series) with that statue. I'm excited for it!
I'm curious when this was actually supposed to have happened. He's a former employee and references "multiple" projects. Bioware's been downsized and currently only doing Mass Effect.
Also, it doesn't matter whether this happens or not. People react to the name 'Bioware' like it's everything wrong with gaming. Dragon Age Veilguard wasn't even that bad.

Dont worry - by the time they release their next game we'll have some other asinine thing to complain about.

@dskatter agreed. People seem to care more about what goes into their video games than what goes into their food.

Kinda shocked they stuck with turn based as it seems to be the biggest complaint people have with Baldurs Gate 3.
Not me though - I love that stuff and the wait will prolly be excruciating.
