Highlight for me was probably just the No Sleep for Kaname Date port announcement; already got the game on Switch 2 so doesn't even actually matter for me but I'm glad more people are going to get the chance to play it.
Also I've never read the comics myself but I'm happy for the Sonic fans thrilled over Tangle and Whisper being in.
That said I'm kind of inclined to avoid the anime adaptation just given the weird situation going on with the creator being muscled out of it for no apparent reason.
I find stuff like this just an interminable chore to get through. Anything worth hearing about I'll hear about, don't need to waste my time watching for that.
@Ralizah I think a significant part of the problem with the game is that its quality is very backloaded. Chapter 0's okay at best and then chapters 1 and 3 are both very bad, you're basically relying on chapter 2 to carry you until the back end of the game.
I played it on the Switch and yeah, a 7 sounds about right. I think it's pretty good but it does struggle from some wonky pacing and uneven case quality. Personally would probably say it's worse than Danganronpa 1, 2, and V3, much better than Ultra Despair Girls (though I think it's the most comparable in terms of what the experience is like) and 3.
I will say for it though that I feel like Halara is such a great character that they need a better game? Not the only likable member of the cast or anything but feel like Halara so far and away comes off as more interesting than the rest that I'd kind of rather just follow them. Probably why they're the one getting the tie-in story.
I decided last minute to go ahead and pick it up. Kind of been content to just wait for a sale or something but between the unanimous praise and just seeming like something I'm into figured why not.
I've dipped my toe into PS Plus a couple of times since they overhauled it and just whenever I do I just plain don't bother actually playing anything on it so I've kind of just written it off as not for me. I don't even have the Essential at this point because I'm far more interested in playing alone than playing online.
As for Gamepass I have a year of it that's running out in August and I don't think I'm going to renew it. Again, I kind of just never use it for anything.
In general in games I'd way rather just get to the next mission and avoid the bloat getting there. If someone isn't a fan of fast travel they shouldn't have to use it but it should always if viable be an option. If you're into exploration for the sake of it, cool, but don't make the game a bore for the rest of us.
@ApostateMage Seems both a weird thing for someone to hope for and a weird thing to get mad at someone over. GTA4 and 5 both DO have fast travel in the taxis. ... And I always use them extensively.
I tried out Disco Elysium once and couldn't get into it, but might give it another shot. My PS Plus expires next month and I'm not planning to renew it so needing to try and get some use out of it before then.
@CWill97 Potentially, but it's kind of its own beast. I think the way better point of comparison is Raging Loop; the two are kind of unavoidably similar since both are, "Werewolf but a visual novel,", though even then Gnosia has you actually playing the games out while Raging Loop entirely does them through the narrative.
... This being said even disregarding all of this I would SUPER recommend Raging Loop. It's just an excellent game.

Had the game for awhile but not played it yet.

Re: Poll: Are You Playing Ghost of Yotei?
Never been interested in either, pretty much know full well they're not things I would enjoy.
Re: Marvel Cosmic Invasion Reveals Another Pair of Playable Characters in Latest Gameplay Trailer
My gut's saying last two will be Iron Man and Kate Bishop but I really want another completely oddball one.
Re: Poll: Are You Sold on 007 First Light?
Really not the sort of thing I'd ever be interested in.

Re: Steins;Gate Is Getting a Reboot for Unannounced Consoles, and the Art Is Divine
Yeah, this is pointless. Do they even remember they were making Steins;Gate 0 Elite?
Re: Manga Masterpiece Death Note Is Getting a PS5, PS4 Adaptation
@Haruki_NLI Impossible Platinum because nobody makes it through the 30 chapters of filler the anime condensed down into a single episode.
Re: Manga Masterpiece Death Note Is Getting a PS5, PS4 Adaptation
I could see it making for a decent visual novel, hard to picture anything else.
Re: Poll: Did You Pre-Order a PS5 Pro?
Could not possibly want one less.

Re: Poll: Are You Playing Tekken 8?
Probably not, if so it won't be soon. I bought 7 but never really got super into it.

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Mortal Kombat 1?
Probably like a 7.5, could see it bumping up to a 9 after more content gets added.
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0?
Never had any interest in the game at all.

Re: Acclaimed Social Deduction RPG Gnosia Is Coming to PS5, PS4
Funny enough I just beat this game on Switch like three days ago. The early game's pretty rough but developed way more of a taste for it as it went.
