lol surely it would be underwhelming for someone who only cares about one or two games. There were a ton of game announcements and it was a great hardware showcase, which is what I think it was really about.

I wonder if bungie regrets joining PlayStation. This seems to be history repeating itself in some ways, like…they left Microsoft for independence and now they’re about to lose control to Sony. Kinda sad.

I’m still playing Starfield. It’s so much fun, just got into base building which I didn’t think I’d like but I actually do! It’s very fun.

I’ll probably wait for a sale, Starfield is still taking all my attention.

No way I’ll be finish with Spider-Man 2 in 10 days, even if I did, I’d still skip Alan Wake due to it being digital only. Which is a shame, I enjoyed the first game a lot.

I can remote play on my phone, iPad and laptop…why would I need a $200 dedicated device?

Without some kinda game cloud streaming, this is such hard pass.

If they just released the game at a date when it was finished, that entire statement wouldn’t matter. Give me a physical version of the game that doesn’t need a day one patch. Don’t ship it until it’s ready. Seems easy enough.

I really liked the first Allan Wake, but I’ll be skipping this one. Releasing a AAA game that’s digital only doesn’t get my money.

@Exerion76 oh yeah. I just rewatched it, so it could be an Xbox…But it definitely not a PS5. Either way, this headline is super misleading and disappointing.

Was this actually running on a PS5 or was captured on a PC?

Honestly this is a little surprising. Yes, PS has amazing exclusives…and that’s why I got a PS5. But the gaming experience on my XSX is so much better. It’s can’t be overstated, quick resume is game changer (literally). The PS5 really needs something like that and maybe I’ll start playing third party games on it again. Once the new Spider-Man game comes out and I play it, I can see someone selling the PS5.

It's great that all these systems are selling so well, we should rejoice in that and not fan the flames of toxic nerd competition.

It’s easy, put all first party titles for day one release. That would ABSOLUTELY make the service worth it.

The Xbox showcase was amazing. Made me a little sad we didn't get a normal E3 yet again. So many games looked really cool. This one was a definite stand-out!

It saddens me that the last of us part 2 didn't get a PS5 upgrade.

Ok so like this service will ultimately be judged by what Xbox game pass offers and when you’re coming to the party late shouldn’t you at least try to match or undercut the competition?? Sony is coming in with a more expensive tier and offering less in terms of value. The premium tier feels pretty expensive and lacking.

Sony needs to take a step from Microsoft and start upgrading more game for free AND get better at backward compatibility.
It’s still early, but I feel like the Xbox could end up being king of the hill in the long term for this gen with how they keep doing things.
