Meh I hate Nintendo, they go out of their way to keep tech specs low so their games can be simple but can still charge big $$$ for them.

Not sure why you'd expect them to make an upscale console at this point. Handhelds forever is likely the future.

Interesting, I was assuming SE was way bigger than that. But regardless, Sony can't spend half its market cap on a company like Activision or a Take Two.

Gaming companies cost a hell of a lot more than anime companies. Sony does not have the cash to purchase Square Enix.

Sony in no way has the cash resources to match what MS is doing in acquisitions. And Sony didn't take Spider-Man off Xbox. They never had a SM game. Marvel came to Sony to create a new series and knew Sony had more talented studios.

I really don't think Sony is in good shape here. 5-10 years I could see them being engulfed by MS.

I think you need to be reminded that Xbox started the whole PlayStation has no games taunt back in the 360 days.

And to the point, Activision games are still playable on other platforms (for now), and I seriously doubt they slaughter the cash cow that is Call of Duty to make it exclusive. This isn't bringing anything new to the table in terms of original games is what I'm getting at.

The Series X is still nowhere to be found either, both PS5 and it are selling like hotcakes.

At $30 a year, it's acceptable enough. Nice to have automatic cloud saves in addition to everything else.

But idk if it will ever be that cheap now.

I'm excited for Ratchet and Clank, bummed it wasn't a release title.

Eager for God of War too but I just can't see that being released this year despite the estimate.

@BNAG_Gamer I'll have to try it the console. I've been able to download them through the website for years. But with the new design of the PS Store it's been no go.

Off topic but has anybody been able to claim Bugsnax for PS5 or any of the free PS Plus games this month for that matter?

They either still show full price for me or in the case of Bugsnax show no way to acquire at all.

Only thing it's missing is voice acting. But other than that, it is delightfully weird.

If there ever came a time where Playstation went belly up do you think Sony would make games for XBox?

I personally think Sony's franchises would disappear should that day ever come and it would suck.
