People clearly don't understand that it's the literal beginning of the console generation. It's not going to magically upscale because it's on a next generation console. People want all these things to be launch titles, then complain it's not to their standards when it launches too early. You can already see significant improvement from the extended gameplay demo to the initial reveal.
When you slide down the glass after coming out of the portal, there was no pop-in with the plants anymore, when initially it was very much noticable. Just wait a bit, this stuff takes lots of effort and time to make. I'm guessing insomniac only started developing the two games shortly before or after Sony announced their dealings with insomniac this time last year. That's only 1 year, the last of us 2 took around 6 years.
Meh it was ok. They didn't show anything with Spiderman mm, which is stupid I think. It's coming out in like three months and all we have is a no gameplay trailer and a couple screenshots and interviews.
There was also a lot of dlc things. A bit too much IMO. The comment section was crap as usual. People acting like its the end of the world there isn't x amount of games they want in the next 2 weeks.
On the topic of the article: I loved the look of this game, I might wait for the physical whenever that is as there will be a multitude of games I want in the next year, notably demons souls and stray.
I saw the screenshots and I was a little worried at first, but this (even though it's CG), has me interested, I'll keep my eye on it. The focus on stealth doesn't bother me, and gollum has so much potential as a character, especially the book version. As a die-hard lotr fan, I'll make sure to pick it up somewhere down the line.
