Im not buying digital as I like to sell the games if I don’t end up playing them.

Great that’s made me want to purchase.
Last physical was The Precinct, which can with a bunch of stuff. Metal case and a sew on cop badge. It’s good to keep a bit of physical history and I can sell it on if I like.

The more the merrier. I think exclusives are a tacky idea anyway

Purchased at launch out of curiosity.
I’d firstly say that the vm is jaw dropping if you’ve never seen it in action .before. Niece and nephew really enjoyed it (under supervision).

Going forward I don’t really use it and it’s on my list of things to sell. I think there are good games out for it, I just don’t have the time and it also get motion sickness.

Finally I don’t like not being able to see the real world once I have the headset on.

All in all I thought it a good addition and support ps for trying something new, though they should have supported more games. I’ve got the money to waste on trying, so don’t mind taking a loss when I sell it.

Will pick it up if they do a physical release. Otherwise it will need a heavy discount.

Worth it for Truxton, slap fight and tiger heli. Used up a lot of 10ps on those .

They should really port over the remastered C&C as that was fantastic too. I nearly flunked my 1st year because of that game, many decades ago 😊

I’ve held back on my purchase. Not the blockbuster I was hoping for. I have such a backlog to play anyway.

I’d say 60%+ of my games I don’t end up playing . I’m an old guy & it’s mainly due to time. I tend to pass the games on to my nephew & let him play or sell.

@Nepp67 I fully support physical and we all should. You can buy it try it and if it’s not for you sell it on or give it your friends.

@SteveJaye I’m hoping for the same. I loved division as I could mess around in single player and then seamlessly glide into multiplayer .

I can see a lot of comments are happy with digital only.
I can understand some of the reasons, but I much prefer physical. I sell 60% + of my games and pass them on. Why would you be happy to not have this option?

@Jrs1 if I purchased a movie and I couldn’t watch it when I wanted, then I would be annoyed.

@BecauseBecause I agree. Plus the benefit of being able to sell them on or give to friends once you’re done.

I’ll never forget coming back from holiday and seeing final fight running on the snes at my games store. That’s the first time I said to myself that’s just like the arcade and foamed at the mouth. Apart from the neo geo snes was the best console around by far.
I always want a perfect outrun on console which helps too.

Depends if this also suffers from stick drift. I’m fuming ps thinks stick drift is ok and will be switching to pc at the end if my ps5 life

If they don’t suffer from stick drift I might buy one

Biggest woes of the controllers is the stick drift. I’m already two controllers down and I’m a light player.
Almost a decade of the issue now and no plan of a fix.

If the game is good - I’ll buy it. That’s the only formula they need.

@Ilovecoffee agreed - really love the pS5 but my biggest gripe by far is the stick drift. PC is my next move asr the ps5 reaches the end of life

@get2sammyb I’m all for buying the outrun port they did for the switch. It tops the straight arcade port @ 60fps. I love to buy that for the PS, just to leave the music blasting out and me of the arcade days 😃

All depends how old you are. I specifically remember the snes pulling in all my friends who never cared about gaming. SF2 and Mario cart being the pull.
The SNES was imo the best console of all time

Yea that’s a dealbreaker. I’m not sure it’s for me , so I like to buy physical & can sell on if that’s the case.

It’s not just for collecting. I’d say 40-50% of games just don’t grab me after a play. I can stick them on eBay and get some of my money back.

I would have much preferred timely updates as to what is going on and an eta of fix. Saturday is my gaming day - i could have planned around it if you let us have a rough guid of the issue and fix timelines.
My biggest with PS is the stick drift. Defo thinking about buying a gaming PC soon.

Time to bring out my old SNES and get back into some classics. Contra iii is a pearl id recommend.

I wan5 to enjoy these types of games, but just can’t get into the. I can’t help but click through the dialogue, which is endless.

I tend to play a lot more Indy games on the portal, for example animal well. Just great for bed time gaming.

@Keyblade-Dan 100% - it’s a total money drain. Next thing you realise is you have a ton of micro subscriptions draining your income every month.
Buy a game own it, preferably physical but I would understand why people like digital.

Cancelled my order. I might revisit a purchase further down the line. I’ll probably save it for the switch 2. More than happy with my ps5 atm

As a young guy I could sometimes never sleep thinking about my spectrum 48k games. 40 years later I don’t think gaming has ever been better……you lucky g1ts. 😄

Just cancelled my order on that news (was a knee jerk pre order anyway). Unless the law changes that the digital ownership is 100% yours, I’m avoiding digital purchases. It’s also handy to sell games on that I didn’t enjoy, which is about 40%. will still purchase the odd Indy as digital.

Just to note California passed a law to prevent “buy it now” or “purchase “ as you do not own the game.
I have a handful of digital games, but owning the physical is by far better for your own purchase protection.

I pay for a few Indy ganes as digital only , but a majority of my games are physical. Digital only I pass on . There is so much choice in games I don’t miss out.
