The animal indicator and auto-loot options are going to be awesome in NG+. Can't say how many times I lost track of those stupid foxes or lost on loot because I beat a camp and the bodies disappeared.
Oh, come on! I literally beat and platinumed this game on Sunday after spending 100+ hours in Ezo. I was hoping NG+ would drop early next year so I had more time to spend on other games. I don't think I'll be able to resist. I absolutely adore this game. Guess it's time to treat myself to a Kurosawa/Japanese VA playthrough.
@Dalamar I'm 80 hours into Ghost of Yotei and beat the Kitsune earlier this morning. I've been spending so much time searching out every secret and generally just enjoying riding around in the world that I haven't noticed that I'm lagging way behind the standard run time. 😅 I still consider it time well spent because I flipping love this game.
@Kraven Dude, Shinobi was so much fun! I 100% it (except the final secret boss...) a couple weeks after it launched, but I can't wait for the DLC to drop next year. Would you recommend Ragebound after having played Art of Vengeance? I've been eyeing it for a while, but I need to beat Yotei and Persona 3 Reload first.
@naruball I was having issues with this, too, when I first got my portal. I started using my PS app or my remote play app to kickstart my PS5 and I was able to connect right after.
As far as the supposed update goes, I will subscribe to whatever tier I need to to access this. I love my portal to pieces, but having it be less dependent on my PS5 would be perfect.
@HallowMoonshadow I'm about to boot up P3R right now. I can't wait to get further into the game.
My biggest problem with P5R was that I couldn't connect with the characters the same way I could with P4G. Having the dungeon bosses basically be members of your group (not a spoiler since it's an early theme that lasts the game) was a stroke of genius. And having to overcome your insecurities (i.e. growing up) hit a much deeper and more subtle chord for me than Here is Big Bad Menace to Society- GO!
Granted, the gameplay is brilliant, but that can be said about any Atlus RPG. My personal favorite turn-based system. But I have too long a backlog to invest 120+ hours into a game that isn't firing on all cylinders for me.
@1970sGamer I haven't, but I've heard really good things, of course. I'm probably going to wait for it to come to Switch 2 (or for Sony to release a fully portable handheld). I hope you have fun with it! It looks awesome.
I'm 50 hours into Yotei and have just now beaten the Oni. Still have all the other Yotei 6 to get to. I love this game to pieces, but I'm giving myself a little break with God of War (2018) just to change pace for a few days.
Persona 3 Reload also arrived yesterday for my Switch 2. I put 10 hours into the demo last month and it's blown me away. P4G is one of my favorite games, but I was really disappointed in P5R (unpopular opinion: I felt the characters and story were too flat, especially compared to 4). I'm beyond happy that 3 is drawing me in the same way 4 did.
I picked up the black Ghost of Yotei PS5. It's my first Playstation console in 15 years. I've mostly been playing Yotei, but I also picked up the Nathan Drake trilogy to go back to some old favorites.
