@get2sammyb This is factually inaccurate. For starters, there's never been a good GAAS title considering they're all built on anti-consumer predatory practices no self respecting gamer would ever in good conscious recommend. Secondly, as with any game that draws attention to the twitch/no-lifer crowd, for anyone to get into an older game they're going to struggle immensely. They're immediately at a disadvantage and in most cases will quickly abandon the game, and since it's a GAAS, rightfully so. There's never been a single good GAAS, and definitely never one worth supporting.
@UltimateOtaku91 Which is why it should have legal ramifications. It is theft, after all, and shouldn't be treated as anything less. If someone is stealing money out of the pension funds it's no different, leaking can potentially cost a company millions, and depending on who is doing it, they could have monetary gain from it as well. It is theft, leaking, piracy, etc, and should all be punishable by law up to/including permanent banning of Internet connected privileges beyond simple life necessities like online bill payments.
Proud of you for not participating in theft, far too many are entitled and think leaking is okay. It's theft.
As for the game itself, my buddy said wouldn't it be funny if it was just a Vice City remake? And I would laugh so damn hard. Regardless, the world is going to make a fuss over what's sure to be another poorly written, poorly programmed, awful controlling game.
@Beetlebum91 people are more entitled these days than ever. You only need to look at the anti-exclusive crowd to see that toxicity. Just because they have one platform they believe they deserve every game ever made. Gaming is a luxury, not a right, but it's cheaper now than it ever has been.
@rjejr I don't care about the price of the game, what people fail to realize is that this is the cheapest gaming has ever been for the quantity and quality we're getting. Anyone complaining about prices today has likely never purchased a $80 NES game or $90 SNES game. Gaming is a luxury, not a right, and the entitlement needs to stop. You either pay for what you perceive to be value, or don't.
As for focusing on current gen gaming and not last gen, that's already been proven to be pro-consumer. Continuing to hold back new hardware for last gen is not how we promote healthy growth in our hobby. It has never had anything to do with the price, it's always been about the quality of games.
Got the platinum for this a few months ago, really awesome game so I can't wait for this. Bloodborne is my only other current platinum, though I am close to getting Dark Souls Remastered added to that list. Hope to get 2 & 3 finished before summer.
I'd love to see Resident Evil remade, if they could bring 4 which I felt held up pretty well from the GCN, then the REMake is definitely viable. As for 5, I'd love it too. What made that game insufferable was Sheva's AI, otherwise it was a perfectly serviceable RE title boulder-punching aside.
CV deserves a remake too, if for no other reason than to fix the stupid fire extinguisher issue. Those who know (and consequently didn't know on their first playthrough) are nodding in agreement right now 🤣
@NinjaNicky I don't troll, I speak in facts. If that bothers you then that's a sign you're afraid to admit I'm right. That's not my problem, so I hope you have a wonderful day!
@Kyushutrail You aren't missing much, other than a lesson in how to not program controls, write dialogue, develop stories, build worlds, etc. R* are the absolute worst devs in the industry without question. CDPR, Bungie, Bethesda, and Microsoft are all pretty much tied for 2nd place. Almost everyone who hypes up a R* title, has never played an actual good game.
Only thing there worth getting is TLoUpt2R, and thankfully there's an upgrade path for it to justify. Otherwise, I'll stick to platinuming another Dark Souls game and whatever Nintendo has coming.
There hasn't been any "good" news regarding Bungie and Destiny since they pulled that anti-consumer ***** with TKK. The fact anyone bought D2 shows just how naive Bungies fanbase is (fact). On top of that though, Bungie hasn't released a good game since Halo CE (fact) and only rides on their diehard fans. How can this be proven? Most of the original Bungie team left and formed 343, who has continued the much maligned Halo series in Bungies absence. Nothing about the gameplay has changed drastically, the writing is still just as bad, and the series has always been a silly sci-fi that took itself too seriously. All that changed was the developer name who helmed it.
It's time people accept the fact that Bungie is no better than Ubisoft, R*, or CDPR... Extremely poor at their craft with a fanbase that doesn't know any better if something of quality came and struck them in the head.
@NCGhostOfLOWERD Except Xbox is nothing more than a 3rd party publisher since 2017, and Phil Spencer stating he wants more screens not hardware sales on stage at E3 confirms this. Like Thanos, Xbox on Nintendo and PlayStation (because they failed at everything else) is an inevitability. That's why it was naive for any Xbox fan to buy a Series X. Pay more for less is their motto, just look at their controllers since the 360 to see how they enjoy being gouged for less than the competition offers. Simple facts.

@clvr This, thank you. It's nice to see someone outside of the naive hivemind. The worst fanbase are R* fans after all.

Re: Naughty Dog Drops Explosive The Last of Us 2 Remastered No Return PS5 Gameplay
Definitely looks better than the Factions garbage from TLoU, and clearly a much better use of time for the studio! Can't wait!

Re: Impressively, 1,200 Skins Will Get Free LEGO Makeovers in Fortnite
That's twice you've called this pathetic excuse for a "game" impressive. It's not.
Re: Fortnite Chapter 5's New PS5, PS4 Animations Are Impressive
Nothing about this "game" is impressive.

Meh, another bad game from the worst developer in the industry 🥱. I'll be too busy playing something great to bother with this.

We knew this in 2017 when Phil Spencer took Xbox 3rd party on stage at E3.
