If the update has new trophies, I’ll 100% be playing it. If not, it’s unlikely as I’m currently playing something else and I enjoy trophy hunting.

I think a great next step for FromSoftware would be a Bloodborne remaster for PS5 and maybe even som fresh DLC to go with it, just for the PS5 release. Just sayin’…….. 😉😂

Just started Alan Wake 2. Too early into it to get a sense of what I think about it other than it’s very different what with the heavy emphasis on the detective work.

LEGO games are always pretty solid but if you’ve played one you’ve basically played them all and I’ve played a few of them. I’m not interested in either of the other two games so not a very good lineup for me, personally even though I might put the LEGO game in my library for a rainy day, so to speak….

This game was so bad it's hard to put into words......

I have one of the grey camo ones that I quite like but my son has the Spider-Man 2 one and it is absolutely awesome!

@Northern_munkey That’s good to hear! I will likely give that a shot then in the near future. Maybe after I’m done with Shadow Of The Erd Tree.

@Northern_munkey I played Steelrising and loved it. Thought it was an excellent Soulslike. Lords Of The Fallen has had my eye since it was in development and it looks gorgeous but I keep hearing a lot of very mixed things about it so I’m not sure on that one. Lies Of P however I’ve heard nothing bad about and I’m likely gonna give it a go. The only thing holding me back is the difficulty which I’ve heard is harder than Sekiro, so we’ll see but I’m likely to give it a go.

Currently playing Shadow (Scadu? 😉) Of The Erd Tree despite its reluctance to include trophies and I’m thoroughly enjoying being back in The Lands In Between. Hard to match FromSoft’s formula but it would be a little better to hear that sweet trophy ‘bling’ after beating these seriously difficult bosses! 😉

@Rich33 I have it on my list and I’m really tempted to play it as I keep hearing great things about it. Definitely enjoy Soulslike games but there’s no question the actual ones by FromSoftware are the very best (obviously) and the ones I enjoy the most. Although in recent memory, I’d say the ones NOT by FromSoftware that I’ve enjoyed most are: Mortal Shell, Steelrising and (if they count?), especially, the Remnant games.

They can have my money now - I'm in, whatever it turns out to be! GOTY for me thus far and I don't see anything dethroning it for the remainder of the year.

We get a remaster for this C-grade, 13 year old game and yet Bloodborne has nary a remaster in sight. Oh the injustice of it all…….

It’s a video game for crying out loud - not a historical work of non-fiction. People need to get over themselves. And why apologize for a game you spent years making if that was your vision? Either stand behind it or don’t put it out at all. Don’t kowtow to a minority of whiny players.

Headed into the final piece of DLC for ASSASSIN’S CREED: Odyssey - Fate Of Atlantis part 3. Gotta say that this entire game has been as spectacular as it is gorgeous to look at!

They’re also blessed with a ridiculous amount of top tier exclusive games Xbox doesn’t have too.

Stellar Blade is GOTY for me with Helldivers 2 in at 2nd. I really don’t see anything else dethroning it for the rest of the year. The game is just that solid in my book on so many levels and the release slate for the rest of the year doesn’t hold anything I think I’m going to enjoy more, but you never know. We shall see……

I'll likely give this one a go at some point in the future. Looks pretty fun from what I've seen of it.

@SolarSpirit86 Hahahaha I played that game around its launch. I enjoyed it for the first few hours but it quickly became stale and showed how low budget it really was. Not a good game by any means but nowhere nearly as bad as Quantum Error. Now THAT is a terrible game and one to be avoided at all costs!!!

Still roaming around Ancient Greece in ASSASSIN’S CREED : Odyssey. Pretty close to the platinum for it but still have about half the DLC’s to do yet.

Remnant 2 is such an absolutely AMAZING game!!!! One of my favorites over the past 12 months or so. Still waiting on the final piece of DLC!

Still lost in ASSASSIN’S CREED Odyssey’s ancient Greece and loving it. Just finished the main quest line yesterday and now I’ve got more side quests, activities and DLC content than I know what to do with! A good problem to have! 💪🏽😉👍🏽

Stellar Blade by a large margin and it’s likely to be GOTY for me as far as I can tell based on what’s coming. Helldivers 2 is a solid 2nd place for me and was a refreshing and enjoyable change of pace.

This is probably a good thing TBH…..

I do want to play this at some point but there’s too much else out there that looks better. Besides, it looks like the kind of game that would get repetitive and thus boring fairly quickly. If it ever comes to Plus though I’d be willing to give it a shot.

When I think of Resident Evil, I naturally think 3rd person, so I suppose I’d slightly prefer that. But I’ve also had a great time with some of the 1st person games they’ve done so I’m really fine with either, just as long as it’s done well.
I’d also much prefer a new mainline entry as opposed to yet ANOTHER remake. Spend the time and money on a new idea instead of re-treading well walked in shoes.

Finally getting around to playing my first console version of an Assassin’s Creed game (I played AC 3 on the Vita and wasn’t overly impressed) - ASSASSIN’S CREED: Odyssey - and quite enjoying it. Absolutely blown away by how big the map is and how detailed all the locations are!! Really solid game and I’m having quite a good time with it so far.

I hate to say it but there’s absolutely nothing that I’m completely jonesing to play. If I had to pick a game or two that I’m looking forward to though, I’d say either Black Ops 6 or Silent Hill 2 Remake. 🤷🏽

Personally, I enjoyed Lost Legacy much more than Uncharted 3. For me it's:

2 > 4 > LL > 3 > GA > 1

Bummer to hear as that’s one of the very few Xbox proprietary games I’ve really wanted to play. But MARVEL’S Wolverine is more than enough of a ‘consolation’ prize 😉

I played Borderlands 3 on release and neither of the other two are my type of game, but at least they're all some 'name recognition' titles. Certainly not a terrible month y any stretch, but nothing I'm looking forward to either.

It’s easily my GOTY and I don’t see anything dethroning it. I’d gladly welcome DLC and especially a sequel. Glad to see the devs consider it a success.

@Geminisundone To each their own. It’s not like Elden Ring is the ONLY fun game out there right now. I just prefer to play something that actually has trophies in it, since I’m a trophy hunter. Maybe one day when I don’t have a backlog or anything I’m actively wanting to play I’ll give it a go. It’s not that I absolutely refuse to play something with no trophies but if the devs can’t be bothered to put a few trophies in a game, I’m not gonna be bothered with putting it at the top of my ‘want to play’ stack.

@playstation1995 Congrats to your Celtics m8! Was pulling for them as one of my best friends is from Boston. Also REALLY impressed with and like their coach a LOT. Dude is a man of very strong faith. Enjoy that championship glow - it’s fun! My Wolverines are NCAA champions themselves right now and it’s a nice feeling, I know.

I’m currently playing through the DLC for Dying Light I don’t have completed (Parkour Fever & The Bozak Horde) and quite enjoying it. Really fun coming back to that game after not having played it in 10 years or so.

I’ve also started playing through the Trapped In Limbo DLC for Atomic Heart but a combination of things is preventing me from enjoying it too much. That being the DLC itself is pretty bad and not at all like the base game itself. Plus, one of the trophies is glitched (and I suspect others might be as well). I may just hold off on that one until I know it’s been patched and there’s a trophy guide out for it. The DLC is just so far off of what the game itself is, it’s hard to find it very enjoyable, though strangely enough it does have an addictive quality to it in a masochistic way 🤣🙄🤦🏽🤷🏽

I’ve also noticed that some trophies have been added to Astro’s Playroom all of the sudden out of nowhere so I may go back and give that some time.

No trophies = no play. Besides I’m busy with other games at the moment and have a bit of a backlog right now, but maybe one day when I don’t have anything else to play I’ll give this a go. FromSoftware games are some of my favorites.

If Sony is the one that it’s up to for a remaster, sequel or otherwise, it’s no surprise we haven’t gotten something yet. Look how tone deaf, misguided and boring their state of plays and Summer Games showings have been lately. Sony appears to be a company lost in the woods.
