@Oram77 I doubt it. They failed before. They do not have the studios to make the games Unless they have a similar set up to Switch. However handheld gamers have made it abundantly clear about what kind of games they like to play and Sony failed to find that market.

@UltimateOtaku91 I doubt Switch has sold the most, it is just that there are so many of them, and Mario Kart and Animal Crossing are pack in games.

@ATaco The Last of Us 2 was literally Sony's fastest selling game of all time and adored by millions. If you think having a strong female lead with a shave head is a recipe for disaster then you need to look back at the many successful Sci-fi films of all time.

@Stragen8 For even it's pereceived flaws, The Last Guardian is a beautiful and emotionally impactful game. Duke Nukem Forever was a mess.

Epic Was funding Fumeto Ueda's new game and it was supposed to be an Epic Game Store exclusive. So I am wondering what is going on fully. No matter, it is without a doubt my most anticipated game.

Sony needs more games. Astrobot was a breath of fresh air and we need the return of old Sony with their smaller projects alongside the big budget narrative games

Sony needs to understand the Portable Market more.

Games like Pokemon. Monster Hunter, Tetris etc. Games that people have historically preferred to play on the Go. We love our big budget Sony games, but gaming on the go is different. Sony needs to tap into the market that Nintendo has full understanding of.

Elden Ring. The most replayable game.

Bloodborne is the obvious choice. All Sony 1st party games should get a boost, including their PS4 games like Shadow of the Colossus and The Last Guardian.

The original is a 10/10. This is the same game. It is one if the best games of last gen. I think it is much better than the sequel as the story is much more grapping and it has better characters

How about releasing it as a non-live service game? People do not want to pay full price for an unfinished game they have to keep pumpimg money into. And to shut the studio down when they don't have enough ganes as it is at the monent.....

I want one, but I want new games to play on it, and Sony is just not delivering in this department at the moment. Sony was the company of varied games and new franchises. Now they are the play safe company, particularly since closing Japan Studio.

Hopefully they will make you have a PSN account to buy one. That may somewhat mitigate this. They do for some products.

The best non-Zelda Zelda style game apart from possibly Okami. If it is a decent upgrade I would play this again.

@nomither6 Until this gen with Switch dominance, unless a game is about violence it generally does not sell so well. Fifa and generic FPS 101 will sell better.

Gears has great graphics but the gameplay of a mobile phone game (and a vile toxic online player base), so famously wrote by Edge magazine

I live in the UK, and UK gamers have always preferred dumbed down games and what is perceived as cool such as Call of Duty, Gears of War etc. Even since the SNES days some of yhe very best games like Final Fantasy 6 were never even released here.

It has always been style over substance in the UK games market.

If we got fidelity with better graphics I might have considered that price

If it is just the same 4k graphical quality but with 60fps I don't think I will bother. If we get better graphics WITH 60fps I might get one.

I am getting a bit fed up of this style of game. It just feels like there is nothing new anymore.

Gaming is so stale. It just feels like "same old, same old". There feels like nothing new is being created. It just feels like the same games being recycled over and over but with better graphics.

I loved all the ganes, including the 3rd. Apart from Okami, Darksiders 2 for me is the best Zelda clone ever made. I am looking forward to this one.

Apart from Marathon, Halo and Destiny, what else have the ever made? How on Earth were they worth that amount? I remember Microsoft buying Rare and their many franchises for a fraction of that.

The reason I love Dragon Quest show much as although the stories and graphics have evolved, the game has stayed true to its roots. Games like Dragon Quest are so rare, that when one does get released every 5 or 6 years, they feel like a breath of fresh air.

Not a great year for gaming so far. The most original games on this list are indie games. So called AAA gaming is not trying anything new now.

Apart from a couple of blips (the Resi 5, 6 and Resi bastardisation era), Capcom have always been a top tier developer and have consistently been making great games for as long as I can remember. From when I was a child, the made great NES games like Mega Man and Disney games, SNES area we had Street Fighter games, PSO Resi, Dino Crisis, PS2/Gamecube there was Resi Remake, Resi 4, Viewtiful Joe, Devil May Cry, Killer 7, Okami etc, PS3 X360 was not their best time, but PS4 onwards they have released consistently great games. They are easily one of the best game developers of all time.

Looking at all these games, and is not difficult to see how stale our favourite hobby is becoming.

PLEASE TURN BASED BATTLES. Or at least the option to have those or typical action.

I honestly thought nintemdo would be because if how many 1st party games they release, how many consoles they sell and cheaper game development costs. But Sony is on top.

@Neither_scene But if you meant Nintendo games, MK 8 Deluxe is over 61 million now. Animal Crossing is almost 50 million. Smash around 40 and BotW over 30.
