Re: The New PS Store for Web, Mobile Is a Dramatic Downgrade

CidMaik

@johnny30 man...are you for real "Just click on the item" so then I go to the next page and see its only a pack? In that situation I either: open a new tab per icon to see if thats what I am looking for or click back and forth. Thata not intuitive at all.
Why not have a general page for the item you are looking for? Once "inside" the other categories of said item are displayed...

Heck...why not a small letter below the icon saying what that is?

Dont excuse this lazy attempt at the official PSN Store for Mobile/Web Browser.

Re: Feature: What Will Be Announced During the Latest State of Play?

CidMaik

In my case I just want more news on two indie games, since SONY is putting such a big focus on them now.
The first one is more news on Project LDI/Little Devil Inside, while its true that the PS5 exclusivity deal was announced in June...I would love to hear of a possible release date or release window at least.

The second game is Hollow Knight: Silk Song, havent heard of that game ever since the Nintendo Direct last year.

@ApostateMage its been two years so things should change...but my experience with RDO2 is:
"I shoot you first or get killed/grieved later"
That was the start of RDO2, you couldnt walk or do anything without being in your toes because someone would shoot you.

I don't know how much things have changed since those early days, but I must tell you it wasnt pretty.

Re: Dragon Quest XI Must Sell Well in the West if Future Games Are to Make it Overseas, Says Square

CidMaik

I have read most of the comments in this section and I agree with two things:
1. The game sadly has become niche over the years and just a handful of people played this game on release week.

2. While we can't really measure how much impact it had, we can say the release date of DQXI was not the best one, this combined with the reality that the game was not advertised properly.

While Square got shy over one of the best IPs out there, Sony was blasting it off with showcasing the game, specially in social media, it got to the point where it was tiring to see so much Spider Man, for sure Sony catched a lot of attention pre release.

We also have to see if SE expectations are based on grounds, if they're expecting 4 million units sold, we can kiss this game good bye again, I will be pleased to see at least 1 million (that beyond what people believe, that number is still impressive for any game that ain't hyperly popular or recognized).

As for the game itself:
1. I do like the MIDI music, yes its looped and yes there should be more town variety but I liked it, it gave it a certain feel that we don't get much anymore.

2. The true problem with the music orchestated is the creator of it, from what I can gather he is a troll when it comes down to his compositions to the point he abuses his rights for orchestated versions.

3. The game is easy? Then up the dificulty using Draconian Quest, it will get hard to the point of frustration, you will use debuffs and buffs and you will grind for hours just to have a winning chance over bosses. Yes, I'm not kidding its that hard.

Its hard to the point I once decided to put the game on normal just try a boss I couldn't beat, it was defeated in 5 turns but going back to Draconian it took everything to beat it, and almost all my team died.

And random mobs can kill you as well, so you're constantly on your toes trying not not to mess up somehow. Thats the truest JRPG experience I had in a long time.

But don't worry, you will get to a point into the game that even on normal its hard, not to the point where mobs are a pain, but bosses will require more than spamming the atk command.

I want this game to succed because it deserves it, there was a lot of thought into it and its a shame it didn't fly off shelves.

Re: E3 2018: Odyssey Puts the Ass in Assassin's Creed with Totally Open Romance Options

@FullbringIchigo it actually makes perfect sense to the narrative, you are watching the decisions this ancestor made by itself and how the events unfold for him/her.

Choosing the gender of the hero also fits the narrative simply because your ancestor could be either male or female, they give you the option to pick yours this time around.

Remember you said it yourself, this is a recording of what happened... So everything and anything you do its something that already happened, you just see it happening.

Gameplay wise even the kills and battles you do its something that happened, all of the exploring you do...it happened. See my point? From a viewer standpoint (that is watching a movie of sorts) its just perfect to create world and stories, because this viewer will never consider that the actions made at that point in time had anything to do with him/her influencing that ancestors life.
