Peter is still Spider-Man, he's just taking a break (Miles even says go be Peter for awhile). What they mean is that Miles is the main one watching over New York while Peter is more part time. In terms of story, Peter and Miles will still both be main characters and share the spotlight. If anything, I wouldn't be surprised if Peter is slightly more of a main character in 3 than Miles like he was in 2, especially given Pete's history with Norman and Otto, and we also have Carnage too. Both of them will still be playable too! Now, I do think 3 will be Peter's last outing as Spider-Man, with 3 showing how Cindy gets her powers. My guess is that MJ and Pete get married by the end, allowing Miles and Silk to take over. Until then, Peter and Miles are still gonna share the spotlight.

Watch the Xbox fanboys try and review bomb the game. They tried and failed with both Horizon FW and God Of War Ragnarok.

HYPED! God Of War Ragnarok went gold about a month before release and the review embargo lifted about a week before the game launched! It seems the same will happen here!

@lightningbolt79 I see what you're saying but this is a little different. Sony buys studios, and even whenever they do so, it's a studio they have worked with before like Santa Monica and Insomniac. With Microsoft, they're buying a whole publisher which includes multiple developers, them being Infinity Ward, Treyarch, Sledgehammer, and Blizzard (obviously). So while I see what you're saying, this situation is different than when Sony acquires a singular studio. Either way, this deal will change nothing. COD will continue to be trash lmao.

@KaijuKaiser I think this may end up happening. In Spectacular Spider-Man Kraven gets so obsessed with defeating Spider-Man that he forces a doctor to give him powers. Something similar could happen here.

I hope and pray it's not another battle pass game.

This sounds great! I'm thinking it'll be like GTA but in order to progress the story you'll have to play a specific Spider-Man. Kinda like how in Ultimate Spider-Man you played some missions as Peter, then as Venom. I'm confident both Spider-Men will have their own side quests and stuff.

I've seen no complaints about the gameplay myself. All I've seen is hype/excitement. Like others have said, the people that are dissing the game are the same that were mad at puddles in the first. Just trolls looking for attention. The vast majority of people are hyped for the game. Heck the gameplay trailer (if you count both uploads) is close to 20 million views already!

Besides Death Stranding 2, I'm thinking Sony MAYBE will have one more thing. What it is, I'm not sure. Maybe it'll be the Spider-Man 2 release date or some like that?

I believe we may see some things at Summer Games fest. Death Stranding 2 is a given, but I'm thinking they'll have ONE more thing.
MK1 is going to be there so there's that too.

@pip_muzz I agree! I personally don't think Carnage will be in 2 though. I think if they do him that'll be for the 3rd game. We may get a spinoff game for Venom like we did for Miles!

I think this has a very good possibility of happening. Maybe not exactly how the comic is, but they'd definitely reference or homage it.
Insomniac knows that fans want Peter to get the symbiote. Hell, when they were asked why the black suit wasn't in the first game (I did like how they gave us a replacement with the Dark Suit) Brian Intihar said, "That suit is a part of one of the best Spider-Man stories ever told and it deserves its time in the spotlight and we want to tell that story the way Insomniac would tell it."
So that pretty much says Peter will get the suit.
Plus, it would give us some fun gameplay opportunity. What if instead of Peter getting the symbiote off himself, you have to play as Miles and fight Peter? Like hitting the bell to stun him and whatnot.

@anon_pel222 honestly, I hope they don't. I'm sick and tired of seeing battle passes everywhere and content added to f2p games (besides Fortnite and Apex) is very poor. Mainly because no one buys the micro transactions. With Fortnite and Apex it's a bit different.

Bloodborne is guaranteed a remake/remaster at some point! I mean, Sony isn't dumb, they know we want it and they acquired Bluepoint so the chances are decently high I'd say.

If they were to remake/remaster ANY of the Metal Gear games, I'd be on board 100%! With that said, Spider-Man 2 is the game I'm mainly looking for.
That or something with Bloodborne.

Why do I get the feeling he's saying this to try and win over the CMA (hope I got the name right)? After all him saying this comes out of nowhere so I think it might have something to do with the Microsoft Activision acquisition.
