Slowly playing super mario galaxy 2 on switch 2 and trails in the sky first chapter on PS5. Have to say gaming does not feel the same so close after Silksong (and a replay of HK)
I have played MGS series for the first time in the last couple of years (1-5) and watched resume of stories of MG, MG2 and PW.
My ranking is:
MGS3 - Masterpiece MGS4 - Great combat and cinematic vibes MGS - Good story but one of the most frustrating gaming experiences I ever had. No game has aged more than this one I am afraid MGS V - good gameplay and nothing else (clearly released unfinished) MGS2 - Although I "knew" I had the same gripes as everyone back in the day. Piece of crap in characters and setting
As I start my time with PS5 (and all the exclusives I missed throughout the years) I have been playing FF VII remake. I am about midway through by now and still have the same feeling as I when I played a demo back in 2019 as the gameplay royally sucks... But Aerith is a lovely as ever so it is forgiven I guess π
It is the GOAT. It blew my mind when I played it when released on Switch and I have finished on current gen another time. P.s: Gwent itself is the second best game of all time π
If this is indeed true, it is dead on arrival as it has the same problem as PSVR2 in which you need to pay hundreds of dollars on top of a PS5... also remote play/cloud is going to be the future at some point but it definitely it won't be in a couple of years.
Let's say the deal fells off, PlayStation own deal for marketing of CoD ends in one or two years and then what? Money talks but it appears to me the relationship with Abk will be broken and then it may well be CoD Will be on GP regardless. Sony is not in a good position either side of the deal imo
@thefourfoldroot1 I am not arguing with that. However do you think nobody would buy the games on switch (or most likely the next hardware)? Games like Doom, Wolfenstein, Witcher, etc sold very well on it so CoD would as well (even more if released day one)
@thefourfoldroot1 "And saying Nintendo have agreed to it is a pointless and transparent attempt at manipulation. Of course Nintendo would agree when COD isnβt even currently on their system."
The point is that currently CoD is not on a Nintendo platform (even when that platform has 100M+ Numbers) but that if the aquisition is approved the games will be expanded instead of monopolized like Sony has been saying as an argument
@UltimateOtaku91 I would not say D4 and OW2 are a given as as far as I understand Sony does not have a contract (exclusivity or others) regarding those games. So Microsoft can still agree with Activision to put them only on Xbox/PC. There were deals of exclusivity on both deadloop and ghostwire though. P.s: I am not saying it is likely that it will happen like that though, just a possibility.

Re: Highly Anticipated RPG Remake Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter Confirmed for 2026 Release
It was already clear for those who finished the game but good to hear it is already next year.

Re: PS Showcase Demonstrated Sony's Efforts to Offer 'Best and Most Varied Catalog of Games', Jim Ryan Claims
@Fuzzymonkeyfunk that is the most accurate thing about it. It was above all quite boring (like all Geoff's shows)

I wonder if Sony will rethink the plans on psvr2 to focus on development of games to ps5 instead
