Sony has announced it's bringing a playable PS5 demo for Ghost of Yotei to next month's Tokyo Game Show, as part of a preliminary lineup for the event. Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls will also be there, along with livestreamed events and special fan giveaways.
"This year's PlayStation booth will allow visitors to experience a wide range of PlayStation content, including early access to new titles scheduled for release on PlayStation 5, such as Ghost of Yōtei and MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls," the Japanese PlayStation Blog post reads. "Visitors will also be able to experience developer talk events on an adjacent stage and a variety of exhibits."
TGS takes place on 25th - 28th September, and Ghost of Yotei launches the week after, on 2nd October. Anyone going to the show with a PS Plus subscription can "pre-order" their demo slots ahead of time.
In addition to the playable games, Sony will have a stage "showcasing the full appeal of upcoming new titles". These events will also be livestreamed on the PlayStation YouTube channel. Attendees can also take part in giveaways to earn stickers from the 30th anniversary collaboration with YOASOBI.

TGS is looking to be the best show case of the year. If SE show anything to do with FF7 part 3 nothing will top it for me.
Looks like the September SoP is probably September 23rd then.
The first ghost game felt a lot like a Ubisoft game bc there really wasn't much in terms of verity, much like shadows. I hope they added some cool mini games or at least something to interact within towns other then shop vendors.
If this game fails to meet expectations, I won't be surprised.
@Frmknst so let me get this straight, you have literally never heard anyone compare the open world structure of Ghost of Tsushima to a open world Ubisoft game... Are you being serious!
The only game I am looking forward to.
