Saros Trophy Roadmap: How to Get the Platinum

The Saros Trophy list is a pretty straightforward one overall. You'll receive a bunch of Trophies for just progressing through the game, defeating bosses, and getting further into the story.
There are other Trophies related to regular progress, or will unlock over time through normal play. Some examples include unlocking every weapon, dying for the first time, using the Second Chance ability for the first time, and killing 1,995 enemies.
Most of what remains are Trophies that require you to use certain weapons or kill enemies in specific ways. You may pick some of these up without really thinking about it, but if there are a few that don't pop, it's worth checking what you need to do and keep that in mind while on a run.
Perhaps the most difficult Trophies will become easier if you tackle them much later, such as beating all seven Nightmare Gates, or getting through a biome with no damage taken.
Are There Any Missable Trophies in Saros?
No, there are no missable Trophies in the game; you can unlock the whole set without worry.
Are There Any Difficulty-Related Trophies in Saros?
No; Saros doesn't have typical difficulty settings, so there aren't any Trophies in this game related to difficulty.
Will Changing Gameplay/Accessibility Settings Affect Trophies in Saros?
No. You are able to tweak certain settings within the menu, and these can make the game easier to play, but there is no indication that doing so will have an impact on collecting Trophies.
Carcosan Modifiers do not impact Trophies either.

Strange Is The Night
Bronze: Enter the Banyan Tree for the first time.
In the Passage, you'll find a large tree on the upper floor. This is the Banyan Tree. Periodically throughout the story, it will open up. Step inside for the first time and you'll nab this Trophy.
Shattered Glass
Silver: Complete every encounter inside the Banyan Tree.
Go inside the Banyan Tree and experience all the sequences within it to get this simple Trophy. There are only a few, so check the tree every so often and go inside if it's open.
Nightmare Strands
Gold: Enter and complete all 7 Nightmare Gates at least once.
In every biome (apart from Yellow Shore) there are large gates called Nightmare Strands. Open only while the Eclipse is active, beat each of these optional challenges to get this Trophy.
For more information, see our guide, How to Enter Nightmare Gates.
Full Arsenal
Silver: Unlock all Main and Power Weapons, and defeat 25 hostiles with each.
For this Trophy, you need to use every Power Weapon, as well as every variant of every Main Weapon, to kill 25 enemies each.
Bullet Paradise
Silver: Dispatch 1995 regular hostiles.
This simple Trophy will pop once you reach a cumulative total of 1,995 enemies killed. Fun fact: 1995 is the year Housemarque was founded.
Carcosan Cartographer
Bronze: Use the Carcosan Modifiers to embark upon and survive 33 expeditions.
In a fun nod to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, you must go out on a total of 33 runs while using Carcosan Modifiers to earn this Trophy.
For more information about Carcosan Modifiers, see our guide, Which Carcosan Modifiers Should I Use?
Soltari R&D
Silver: Unlock and utilise all Traits and Variants of a Weapon.
Each Main Weapon has three Variants, and they come equipped with a number of Traits. These are assigned randomly when you find new weapons during a run. Once you've used all Variants and Traits of one of the Main Weapons, you'll get this Trophy.
Break The Cycle
Silver: Absorb 2021 projectiles using the Shield.
By holding R1, you'll equip a temporary Shield that can absorb certain projectiles. Absorb a cumulative total of 2,021 projectiles to get this Trophy. It sounds like a lot, but it really isn't. Fun fact: 2021 is the year Returnal launched.
Reinforced Carapace
Silver: Collect 20 Integrity Augments.
Integrity Augments are yellow-green coloured items you will occasionally find during runs through the game. Find 20 of them in total to get this Trophy.
Eclipse's Gift
Silver: Collect 70 Halcyon.
Halcyon is a resource you may come across during a run. There is a finite amount of Halcyon you can find in each biome.
For example, in Shattered Rise, you can find a total of eight Halcyon. Once you've reached this number, Halcyon will stop appearing in that biome.
You need to collect a total of 70 Halcyon to get this Trophy.
Carcosan Conqueror
Bronze: Encounter and defeat 10 Alpha hostiles.
Alpha hostiles are stronger, mini-boss enemies that may spawn during a run. Find and kill 10 of them in total to get this Trophy.
Catch And Release
Silver: Use the Shield to absorb 3 Power bars, then defeat a hostile with a Power Weapon.
When you absorb bullets with your Shield, you build up Power. Fill up three Power meters using this method, and then defeat an enemy with your Power Weapon, and you'll get this Trophy.
Untouchable
Silver: Complete a Biome without taking direct, non-Corruption damage or losing Adrenaline.
This Trophy may be a later one. It requires that you finish a whole biome taking no damage to your Integrity (health) meter. Corruption doesn't count.
Second Chance
Bronze: Use Second Chance for the first time.
Early on in Saros, one of the unlocks in the Armour Matrix is Second Chance. This ability means that you will be resurrected the first time you die on a run. Unlock this ability (you'll need Halcyon) and use it for the first time to get this Trophy.
Approach Vector
Bronze: Dispatch a shielded hostile with a mid-air Melee attack.
Some enemies may spawn with a red shield around them, making them invulnerable to your attacks. Approach one such enemy, jump at it, and strike it with a Melee attack (tap R1) to get this Trophy.
Overdriven
Bronze: Dispatch 30 hostiles using Overdrive during a single cycle.
Once unlocked, you will have access to Overdrive, a powerful move used by pressing L3 + R3. Use Overdrive to kill a total of 30 enemies in one run and you'll get this Trophy.
Countermand
Bronze: Stagger 2 hostiles simultaneously with one Parry.
Once unlocked, you're able to Parry (tap R1) Nova projectiles. Nova projectiles are red attacks that cannot be dashed through or blocked with your Shield. You need to use a Parry to stagger two enemies at once to get this Trophy.
For more information about Parrying, see our guide, How to Parry.
Enforcer
Bronze: Damage 7 hostiles within 5 seconds with Handcannons.
The Handcannon is the pistol weapon type you begin the game with. Use this Main Weapon type to hit seven enemies in five seconds, and you'll nab this Trophy.
Relentless
Bronze: Land 50 consecutive shots on hostiles with Rifles.
You'll get access to Rifles very early in the game. Rifles are automatic machine guns with a rapid fire rate. You need to land 50 shots in a row, missing no shots in between, to get this Trophy.
Spread The Cost
Bronze: Land 7 consecutive Shotgun blasts with 100% pellet accuracy.
Unlocked after reaching the Ancient Depths, you must use a Shotgun to land seven shots in a row, with every pellet from each blast hitting an enemy, to get this Trophy.
Vicious Circle
Bronze: Use Chakrams to damage 4 hostiles within 2 seconds.
Unlocked after reaching the Acolyte's Haven, you need to use the Chakrams weapon to damage four enemies within the span of two seconds to get this Trophy.
All Shall Bow
Bronze: Hit 3 hostiles at once with Crossbows.
Unlocked after reaching the Blighted Marsh, you must use a Crossbow weapon to hit three enemies at the same time to get this Trophy.
Broadside
Bronze: Defeat 5 hostiles with a single Prominence blast.
Prominence is the first Power Weapon you unlock, performed by pulling down L2 all the way and pressing R2. It's a big, single explosion that deals heavy damage to enemies caught in its radius.
Sometimes you might run into clusters of small enemies; fire a Prominence blast at them and you should get this Trophy easily.
Atrophy
Bronze: Damage 5 hostiles simultaneously with Dispiritor projectiles.
Dispiritor is the second Power Weapon you unlock — it's the one where you fire out lots of small projectiles that continually damage enemies over time.
Again, wait until you see a group of five or more enemies and let them have it for this Trophy.
Angle Of Attack
Bronze: Defeat a hostile using a ricochet Nova Lance slug.
Nova Lance is the third Power Weapon you unlock — you charge and then fire a powerful beam attack.
Ricochet your Nova Lance shot off a wall or the floor and it should head for the nearest enemy, netting you this Trophy.
Radiance
Bronze: Damage 3 hostiles simultaneously using the Illumine.
Illumine is the fourth Power Weapon you unlock — hold down to fire a sustained beam.
Use Illumine to hit three enemies at the same time and you'll get this Trophy.
Fatal Triptych
Silver: Die 3 times during a single cycle.
This Trophy is probably one for later on. To die a total of three times during a single cycle, here's what you need to do:
- Unlock Second Chance in the Armour Matrix. This allows you to die once and come back to life during a run.
- Equip the Carcosan Modifier Second Chance Overlord or defeat a Nightmare Gate. The modifier replenishes Second Chance after you beat a boss, while Nightmare Gates also do this with or without any modifiers.
- Go on a run and die at some point to use your Second Chance.
- Defeat a boss if you have Second Chance Overlord equipped, or defeat a Nightmare Gate, to get Second Chance back.
- Die a second and third time during your run.
War Within
Silver: Reach maximum Corruption level and survive.
For this Trophy, you need to allow your health meter to become Corrupted the most it possibly can. The easiest way to do this is during a boss fight; the first boss, Prophet, is good as it shoots a lot of Corrupted bullets.
Absorb the Corruption using your Shield until your health meter doesn't take on any more Corruption, then defeat the boss and you should pop the Trophy afterward.
Never Enough
Bronze: Collect 20 Halcyon in the Yellow Shore.
In the Yellow Shore, Halcyon can be earned with no limit. Collect a total of 20 Halcyon in this biome to get this Trophy.
Fall From Grace
Bronze: Use the environment to eliminate a hostile without shooting it.
You can only get this Trophy once you have unlocked the Parry ability in Blighted Marsh.
What you need to do is parry a red projectile so that the shockwave staggers a flying enemy while they're above a bottomless drop. If successful, the enemy will fall down and die from the drop, netting you this Trophy. It won't work if you damage them at all with your gun.
Vincible
Bronze: Complete a Biome without using the Shield.
This is a potentially tough Trophy to get, but all you need to do is refrain from using the Shield (hold R1).
If you're able to rely solely on dodging and dashing with L1 for the entirety of a biome, you'll be able to get this Trophy. For clarity, a biome is considered complete once you defeat its boss.
Come Back Stronger
Bronze: Die for the first time.
Do we need to spell it out? When you die for the first time, you'll get the easiest Trophy in the game.
