With all of its DLC in tow, Dragon Age: Inquisition is a very long and very dense RPG. Over the course of many hours, you're able to forge your hero's legacy through player choice and explore a number of vast and varied landscapes. 9. Divinity: Original Sin II - Definitive Edition (PS4)

An amazingly detailed RPG with so many branching story moments, Divinity: Original Sin II is a must for fans of the genre. This is a long and winding adventure, stuffed with memorable characters and countless secrets to discover. It doesn't skimp on exposition, either; if you like to rummage through a game's lore and really immerse yourself in a fantasy world's politics and history, you can't go wrong.

8. Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age (PS4)

Dragon Quest XI boasts a truly epic story that stretches on for over 50 hours — but that's just the start. On top of all the optional stuff — fully exploring each location, collecting the best equipment, and taking on monstrous hidden bosses — Echoes of an Elusive Age has one of the most robust endgame adventures you'll find on PS4. Your additional quests add at least another 30 hours or so to an already grand journey, all while building on a charming world and its delightful cast of characters.

7. Persona 5 (PS4)

Average Length: 100+ hours

Persona 5 is about as lengthy as Japanese RPGs get on PS4. Its story can seem like it stretches on forever, but it's buoyed by a great cast of characters and player choice, as you get to decide how to spend your free time when Morgana isn't forcing you to go to bed early. Super stylish and boasting one of the coolest soundtracks around, the hours will fly by as you guide the Phantom Thieves to glory.

6. Assassin's Creed Odyssey (PS4)

Average Length: 120+ hours (with DLC)

With its absolutely massive, seamless open world, you can get completely lost in Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Seeing everything that the game has to offer will probably take you well past the 100 hour mark, but even if you're just following the main story, there's still so much content to chew on. A true odyssey, especially when you take the game's expansive DLC offerings into account.
