God of War Ragnarok Trophy Guide: All Trophies and How to Unlock the Platinum 1
Image: Push Square

God of War Ragnarok has a total of 36 Trophies to collect, including that all-important Platinum. In this part of our God of War Ragnarok Trophy guide, we're going to list all Trophies and how to get the Platinum, while also answering some crucial questions you may have about the game, like whether there are any missable or difficulty-related Trophies.

Does Difficulty Affect Trophies?

God of War Ragnarok has several difficulty settings, and we go into more detail on the Best Difficulty to Select elsewhere in our guide. Perhaps the most crucial piece of information, however, is that difficulty does not affect Trophies at all. This means you can play the entire campaign on the easiest available setting, Give Me Story, and still unlock the Platinum. You're also free to change the difficulty at any time, so we'd recommend you experiment and find the option you feel most comfortable with. In addition, we should also add that you're free to experiment with Ragnarok's plentiful accessibility options, and these don't affect Trophies either, so feel free to enable the ones you want to.

Are There Any Missable Trophies?

God of War Ragnarok has no missable Trophies. The game can be completed 100% in a single playthrough, and you'll be able to continue exploring and mopping up any outstanding Favours or side-quests after finishing the main story. As such, feel free to play the game however you want to. If you'd rather find all collectibles after completing the campaign, then you're free to do so. Alternatively, you can experiment as you progress through the plot and soak up as much of the optional content as possible. It's entirely up to you! For more information, refer to the following guide: Can You Continue Playing After Completing the Story?

Roadmap

God of War Ragnarok is an incredibly flexible game. As there are no difficulty-related Trophies or missables, we'd recommend simply sitting back and enjoying one of the best PlayStation exclusives to date; a game as good as this deserves to be savoured. You'll complete the majority of the Trophy list naturally by progressing through the story, and then it'll simply be a case of mopping up the Favours and some of the collectibles once you've rolled the credits. We have checklists and walkthroughs for all of this content in our God of War guide, so feel free to refer to that should you ever seek additional support.
