@LtSarge I’m glad you enjoyed it in the end! And I agree with much of what you said. There is a cool side mission if you get all of the friends but I wouldn’t go chasing it if you’ve had your fill of the game.
I’m looking forward to getting around to the sequel as I’ve heard it’s even better
@Thrillho Oh that's cool, but yeah I've pretty much moved on from the game now. Still, it's nice that there's a reward at the end of that.
My expectations for the sequel is really high actually since the developer pretty much nailed the first entry, which isn't surprising because they've been making these games for so long now. So I'm hoping the sequel adds lots of new stuff that will make it even better than the first game.
On a side note, I really can't get enough of the Yakuza games. As I mentioned before, I've played almost 10 games and I still want more. There's just something about this series that keeps you coming back for more. So I'm glad that I have Like a Dragon, Lost Judgment and First of the North Star to look forward to, and hopefully more games are on the way. I would even love to see those samurai Yakuza games getting localised here in the West. Getting to meet characters like Kiryu and Majima again would be so lovely.
@LtSarge so good to see other people as enthousiastic about Yakuza as I am. I started the series only when Lad went live and that was my first one. After that I went through 0 to 6 and bitje judgements and I wonder why I never played them before. Didn't expect to love them so much in advance but it turned out to become my favorite game series. Only have fist of the north star to go.
Lost Judgment for me was even better than the first one, especially with the dlc. There was so much more to do in that one.
Have fun playing those last few hope you'll enjoy them.
@LtSarge The only criticism I’d have for Judgment is those horrible tailing missions.. But yeah, the “Yakuza” games are great fun and, like yourself, I’ve also got LaD to play as well.
What are the other games you’ve played to make it “almost ten”? It’s the seven main games and Judgment for me.
@Lavalera Thanks mate, I'm sure I will. These games are just an absolute treat! Would love to hear your thoughts on Fist of the North Star as I don't know many who've played that game yet.
@Thrillho I'm honestly used to tailing missions after having played so many Assassin's Creed games now lol. So I wasn't bothered by them in Judgment at all.
Same here with Yakuza 0-6, Judgment but also Yakuza Dead Souls on PS3 for me. Dead Souls is easily the worst Yakuza game but it's still a good game since all Yakuza games are good. Worth playing just to play as Majima again and kill some zombies.
@LtSarge fist of the north star will be next in line to play after I finished Lego star wars. When I'll get around paying it I'll post my opinion on here.
I hope the older ones will get a port or remake as well. The older side ones I didn't play since I only have acces to a ps5 so let's hope RGG will bring them to modern systems one day.
@RogerRoger So, we'll likely be even on the series soon enough. I still have yet to play Life is Strange 2, but once I'm done with Cyberpunk 2077, True Colors is my next game. I imagine I will play it before you, so then Life is Strange 2 will be the only game in the series I've yet to play.

Just finished Wolfenstein: Youngblood. Overall I liked it… the story and characters were pretty terrible but y’all know that doesn’t bother me too much. It plays real solid and that’s where it counts for me. I’ll look forward to playing the earlier (and by general consensus better) games in the series over the next couple of years.
From what I gather I’ll still have a good few hours (like 20-30 by all accounts) grind for the plat… but when did that ever stop me. 😉
Good to know 👍. I already have it tbh (I managed to get the full Alt. History Collection for around £15 a while back. I just like to space games within a series (as well as games of the same genre) out a bit. I probably won’t play a first-person shooter for a few months now.
@colonelkilgore Surprisingly, it had the best love story in any game I've played I think. Couple of weird difficulty spikes though, that's the only bad thing I can say about it.
Yeah, with all of the information about the service's features flying around now, I'm really trying to keep all of my hopes and dreams in check. At the very least, there'll always be a chance of an occasional surprise, as more and more games get added every couple weeks. As it stands, I'll be able to get the Syphon Filter trilogy downloaded right away and then, if there's anything else later on... well, bonus!
Already got it planned out for when it drops huh? Nice one! I hope you enjoy replaying them all! 😄
I think the only thing I bought on PS3 out the PS1 games confirmed so far is Abe's Oddysee... And I bought the "oddbox" double pack version with Exoddus. So I hope that counts for me getting Oddysee free. 😅
Just wrapped up the story a couple of hours ago. I loved the game, and it would only be second to Horizon Forbidden West as my 2nd favorite game played this year. I realize that we are only 5 months into the year, but still, it was well worth the 15 month wait to finally play the game the way it was meant to be played. I had left my copy sealed from release until the PS5 version was finally put out.
I am not going to go into a very detailed review, but it is a shame that they had to release this in such a horrible state because there is actually a great game there. They nailed the feeling of the world, the story, and created some really good characters.
Hopefully when the DLC drops it ends up being pretty good as I look forward to jumping back into the game again someday. I plan on playing it a second time someday to experience the game as the Female V and see what the Judy romance is like anyways, but still, more good content that's new is always welcome.

I completed AI: The Somnium Files on Nintendo Switch over the course of my vacation. I have a long history of playing visual novels on such trips, so it seemed appropriate. Especially with the sequel releasing soon.
Currently Playing: The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy (PC)
