It took me a couple hours to both remember the name of this one, and find a decent art scan. I first watched an anime it's based on years ago.
@Th3solution, I found better scans of some of my previous submissions as well.
I am rather fond of shiny and sparkly things. Most of the GBC/GBA/DS Pokemon games had shiny box arts, so there could have easily been lots more Pokemon on my list. But it would be a shame to overdo things. And besides, shiny things don't show up so well on pictures.
I'm also noticing a strong correlation between games I like and cool box arts that jump into my mind. Once voting begins, I'll try and be much more objective and base my choices more on the quality of the box art.

Are you allowed to post more than one set of submissions in a day if you didn't hit the 15 entry limit the first time? If so, I'd like to add these 2 to the 10 I already submitted today.
That 50's B movie vibe that game went for was always pretty neat, the levels/arena's each having movie posters to give you a slight glimpse of what was to come was a neat little touch too.
I quite like the NA version of the box art too... But I'm a sucker for the colour red and "Shadow Maya" gives it a creepier tone for the japan version.

Okay, Push Square squad, quite a horde of box art flowed in today. I apologize that it took me a while to get off work and update the album.
Again many thanks to @Foxy-Goddess-Scotchy for policing the place while I was tied up. I think I screened out the duplicates but I can’t be sure. There may be a few repeats, but I don’t think too many.
We are north of 200 titles now, so I feel we need to wrap up Round 1 nominations so that each nominated cover will receive adequate attention and consideration.
In order to give people a chance who may have been too busy to submit the last few days, I will leave it open for a last call for the next 24 hours with the following stipulation:
Anyone who wishes to add any last minute titles may submit up to a maximum of 2 more titles per user.
Exception — unless you have submitted less than 15 total since the contest began, in which case you may submit more nominations until your total personal submissions reached 15 when combined with the number you’ve already submitted. (Ex.— If you submitted only 10 nominees so far, you may submit up to 5 more today.)
Regardless, the poll will close in 24 hours from this post and the list will be locked.
Then I will then take a day or two to organize the voting process and will be posting the procedure when I am ready (probably by Friday or Saturday). Feel free to use that time to discuss, debate, campaign for, criticize, peruse, and admire the long list of awesome cover art, which can all be found in this online album:

@WanderingBullet I think one of the Secret of Mana is English and one is Japanese, right? I think we have a similar thing with Shadow of the Colossus with similar art but the writing is different on the Japanese cover. I think it’s appropriate to leave in both versions.
And no - you’ve got some great entries there! We don’t need to remove any or hit a preconceived number - if we end up with somewhere around 230-250, that’s fine.
