Reached the 9th floor in GG Strive, might play something different since I've played nothing but Stive for the past month. Time to Jump back in the Milano and explore the galaxy!

@Jimmer-jammer Thanks for write up! I was really interested in Ghostwire Tokyo, but have cooled off it since I found out it was open world. I will get to it eventually, but itnhas dropped down the lost a little bit.

@JudgeDredd I'm the same it's an alright game. On chapter 8, keep going back to Guilty Gear though so I'll eventually finish it.

Anyone actually playing that eFootball? I thought I’d share my team, it’s way easier to create a team you actually want to play with, as evidenced by my fairly biased team 😂

@nessisonett That's not too shabby, apart from the keeper and you clearly have the wrong Jota!

Are those the starting ratings of the players?!

@JohnnyShoulder Everyone apart from Jota, Hart and Amaya can go up levels so Coady will hit his peak before Pique for example. Young players like Aaron Hickey can go up more levels so you can increase more stats with them, similar to wonderkids in Football Manager. Then they all have a couple extra ratings from me using a manager with high Possession Game stats and making sure they all work with that style of play. It’s less complicated than FIFA’s chemistry system at least! I’ll probably replace Stuart Dallas next and I almost have enough for Cancelo so I’ll do a swap there.

@RogerRoger Somehow I didn’t even see that when I wrote it 😂

I finally decided to fire up Yakuza: Like a Dragon as it’s been sat in the backlog for a while.

I got to the end of chapter 2 last night and I’m enjoying it so far but I’m hoping to unlock more moves soon as the turn based combat is a bit repetitive at the moment.

@JudgeDredd Yeah, the ratio of gameplay to cutscenes is astonishingly low so far.

So whilst I'm waiting on a racing seat I've made a makeshift setup with my desk and an upside down drawer to use my wheel and have been playing GT7 and some F1 21 without assists 😧 and it's just so good to be finally be able to play these games like this.

Outside of racing I've been going through Castlevania Requiem and am currently at Beelzebub on Symphony and not far off finishing Rondo of Blood

Older than I care to remember but have been gaming since owning a wooden Atari 2600 and played pretty much everything inbetween.

@velio84 I'd be lying if I said I wasn't bored by your mini-review mid sentence...

Ok, maybe that would have been funnier if you had actually done a review and not just a couple of sentences. Oh well.

I played only a couple of hours of Days Gone a year or so ago. The beginning of the game was so much like a Last of Us game, right down to the icons for things you pickup to craft things, that I stopped playing it. I do look forward to giving it a second chance as well someday though to see if I can judge it based on it's own merits instead of comparing, as I still have it installed on my external SSD (aka my PS4 Mini).

@velio84 For me the end of UC4 is just immense. The environments that you are traversing, even though they are linear, really feel quite open and I got that real feeling of exploration and wonder. I also thought the story wrapped up nicely and was easily my favourite UC game.

If you give Days Gone a chance to get going then I'm sure you'll enjoy that too. It's way better than a lot of the reviews made out and ends up being a lot more than just another zombie game, well that's my opinion anyway.

@render @KilloWertz @velio84 I too started out Days Gone but only played it for a few hours. I think it was when I first had my PS5 and I was waiting for Demon’s Souls to arrive, so as soon as I received that I dropped Days Gone. Admittedly it didn't blow me away or anything, but I do plan on going back to it at some point though.

Been playing Resident Evil 2 on the PS5 and I'm liking the upgrade. I played through the full game on hardcore amd Hunks scenario in RT mode and whilst it doesn't hold 60fps its only really in and around the main hall it gets a bit rough. 3D audio is improved too amd even without RT it looks much better than on PS4 with improved SSR and less of that weird halo effect

@velio84 I kinda know where you are coming from in regards to the Uncharted games. I played the remastered trilogy over a period of about 18 months, and by the time I was finished with them I had enough of them. I had 4 unplayed in it's shrink-wrap almost since it was out.

@velio84 I might have given the impression that I haven't played it, but I've already played Uncharted 4 back when it came out on the PS4. It's another game like Days Gone that I look forward to giving a second chance to on the PS5, although obviously I only played a small portion of Days Gone.

I was a bit disappointed by Uncharted 4, which is why I'm looking forward to playing it again, but now in 60 FPS. It was probably a combination of the usual high expectations that I have had for the whole series since it might be my favorite series of all time, and also the wondering what could have been if they didn't likely forced Amy Hennig out and had her write the whole thing. As it turns out, they gutted the whole script, but that wasn't known until this year when Nolan North spilled the beans.

I do expect to like it better this time around since it's not like my love for the series or the characters has suddenly disappeared, and it will be interesting to play an Uncharted game in 60 FPS. I still expect to like Lost Legacy more after I replay that one too as it's my favorite Uncharted game since 2, but I guess that's kind of beside the point.

@velio84 @KilloWertz @JohnnyShoulder I would definitely recommend Days Gone, it's a really weird one because I enjoyed the game, enough to get the plat, the story is good, not great but not terrible and if I'm totally honest the game is probably 10 to 15 hours longer than it needs to be, this almost sounds like I'm putting you off doesn't it!? But truth be told it's the actual game play that wins it, and the further you get in to it the better it gets, some fantastic and really well thought out missions, the hordes are fantastic and taking them all on in different ways is really fun.

My biggest annoyance with the game was that the main character Deacon I didn't really care for him at all he isn't a brilliant protagonist and alot of the supporting cast are the ones that actually make the story worth it. But this is all just personal opinion I know some who loved Deacon.

I played it on ps5 so no bugs what so ever until the last trophy I needed glitches which was a bit of a nightmare, a 20 second trophy ended up taking about 6 hours lol

But I had a blast with it enough to get the plat and I have 8 plats so I only stick around for games I really enjoy it's a 8/10 for me so would definitely recommend.

Tales of Arise and coming to the end of the main story now, I have throughly enjoyed this game and I will do full and unbiased(or as unbiased as I can) review once I've completed the game.

I also want the plat for this game, I know it will be a slog but weirdly I'm not done with playing it even though I'm close to the end of the story. 2 trophies put me off. The standard JRPG fishing trophy and I hate fishing in real life so you can imagine my joy of having to do it in a game and reach level 100 this is going to be a time sink as of now the levelling system isn't very fast but I'm going to go for it!

@velio84 @KilloWertz @JohnnyShoulder @MaulTsir I still remember the first hoard I killed was totally by accident. I was quite under prepared and antagonised this one hoard just to see what would happen but ended up running away thinking I'll go back later to plan it out properly. I managed to take out some that were closely following me but then reached Iron Mikes camp where the rest got picked off by the sentries, and job done.

That was the great thing about that element of the game, there were many ways you could plan to take on a hoard and it was equally as good to wing it as it was to plan it out properly.
