Topic: Marvel’s Wolverine OT

Finished the game just now.
The final level/boss sequences might be Insomniac's best yet. Incredibly cool!

While definitely not their best game, it's full of genuinely great moments.
Combat is great but the main issue is it doesn't do much beyond the combat in terms of gameplay. By this I mean... games like God of War or Uncharted strike a great balance between combat, platforming, puzzles and story moments. Wolverine has no puzzles and traversal sequences are not that special - that lack of variety is probably the game's biggest downside. Then again, Wolverine solving puzzles would feel out of place so I'm not too sure what could be done about this.
And yes, at times it guides you a bit too much and the bike sequences are not great.
That being said, I still think the good parts heavily outweigh these downsides.
Performances (especially McIntyre and Baker) are great and the hype moments are really hype.

I think I'd rate it about where the metascore landed.
Not taking price into consideration - would recommend.
