@CaptD no, it’s more fun (and a little easier, I think?) as a co-op experience, as far as I am aware. That is Fireteam I am talking about, though, not the new Dark Descent, just to be clear.

@kyleforrester87 Oh right, I got the games mixed up. You wait years for an Alien game and then two turn up (almost) at once.

@kyleforrester87 yeah the price makes me more eager to give them my money. I loved Isolation despite not usually liking that sort of game and quite surprised it didn't earn a follow up. Despite it not looking like anything special I brought 2 copies of Fireteam when it went cheap and sent a copy to my brother so it could be something for us to play together online. After doing the first couple of missions we decided to not play it separately to keep our characters the same level but we've now gone months without getting back together on it. Hopefully we manage to get back into the swing of it otherwise I might just play it solo after all.

this weekend yesterday, i was at a cell phone repair shop that also was selling old videogames from NES to some junky Wii games along with copies of Playstation 4 games that consisted of multiple copies of Destiny 2 and some Madden NFL game with Tom Brady on the front cover.

Just wondering if Destiny 2 is any good such as the main story?

I used to have only Destiny 1 for my Playstation a couple of years ago and the game's story was alright even though it felt like an over the top sci fi version of Killzone

I've been on a binge these last few weeks.

Started by buying the Metro Exodus complete edition on sale, then Crysis remastered trilogy, Evil West, then Cyberpunk, Nier Automata Terminator Resistance Enhanced (plus DLC), Cloudpunk and finally Return to Arkham and the Witcher 3!

I have a Series X too but decided to have my PS5 as my main console.....I find it quite hard to work with 2 consoles strangely and actually prefer only having one.

@Walrus_Slapper Some great games there!

What do you think you enjoyed the most out of all them?

Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

Well, Crysis is good but a bit janky and annoying too - hoping the second and third are a bit better!

Ive played Witcher and Metro Exodus before on PS4 but its good to play them again and with PS5 upgrades too!
Have played the Batmans before as well but on my old 360.

Struggling to get into Cyberpunk though honestly which surprised me.

Havent actually tried the rest yet haha

@Walrus_Slapper You’re in for a treat with Nier Automata. One of my favorites from last gen. I have to agree with you on Cyberpunk though, I finally gave up on it.

Walrus_Slapper

@Th3solution I'm really looking forward to it! Heard a lot of good things about it so hoping I like it

@Walrus_Slapper You’ll especially like it if you’re a fan of action combat, but it has a really crazy storyline and some fabulous music. Just be prepared to play through it a few times to get to the true ending, and it’s absolutely essential that you do. Might be the best ending in video games that I’ve ever experienced.

Walrus_Slapper

@Th3solution nice, sounds like it's something i will enjoy.
I've put off starting it yet as I had the idea it would be something to focus on and get sucked into

@Walrus_Slapper Yeah, the combat is twitchy so there’s some muscle memory involved, but it’s not something you have to worry about blasting through. I don’t think you’d get lost either, even though there is some open world aspects. In fact, since you have to play a couple extra runs, the biggest complaint I’ve heard is that the second playthrough dragged slightly for some people. But personally I did get sucked in and played through to the true ending all in a few weeks without other gaming distractions. It was because I was so enamored by the characters and setting though.

@Walrus_Slapper I loved Cyberpunk and so much so that I immediately replayed the whole thing on completing it to get one trophy I missed. I have to say though, dropping the difficulty down and going full frontal in combat for my second run made it way more fun than using stealthy quickhacks on everyone.

And Nier Automata is fantastic. I was put off for a while by the whole “multiple play through” thing but each run is different as it focuses on a different character and steadily reveals the story more and more each time.

Enjoy that rather impressive backlog you have!

Thinking about going ahead to finally buying Street Fighter 6 from Walmart for my Playstation 4. that or buy WWE 2K23 since its sort of sale at Walmart for 39 bucks

I guess my most recent purchase was technically Sea of Stars because they just took the money out for that period I backed it and one of the cool things they're doing is allowing you to choose a physical edition and then a digital code so you can play day 1 while you wait for your physical copy, and you can cross platforms. So i got that technically on PS4 and switch now. I'm really looking forward to it, and hope it meets my hype. Writing was subpar in the demo. I ordered it the day after christmas but they just took the money out this week. I thought I paid that damn preorder four different times and they took the money when it hurt me. 🤣
