A couple of random purchases today prompted by my obsessive compulsive consumption of YouTube gaming vids. Both games happened to currently be on sale on the store, so that together with my interest being piqued meant that the universe aligned as it were:
Titan Quest The Wonderful 101
I reckon the latter in particular might turn out to be an absolute turn-up…
@colonelkilgore How bizarre, I was just looking at Wonderful 101 as it featured in the latest top 10 video on gameranx, "good games which were commercial failures"
I think I'm more tempted by a physical copy though.
Knowing platinum games, it will be as hard as nails.
@CaptD yeah it’s meant to be a tricky one… and no proper trophy guides niether but it just looks so damn fun (that was the vid that piqued me too btw 😉).
@colonelkilgore I noticed Prey on that gameranx video, awesome game. The dlc of Prey is supposed to be their initial take on the Deathloop formula, although I haven't played the dlc....tempted to get the Arkane collection even though I have all of the games* separately (bar the dlc and Dishounoured 1 remastered) but I don't want to give MS my money.
*And all their platinums.
EDIT Scrap that temptation as Prey dlc isn't included and D1 and Death of outsider are download codes. Some collection.
Thinking of buying Sekiro but the prices are craaaazzzzyyyy. I don't wish to pay too much as I'm still not convinced that I will like it.
Thought for the day...does anyone think that MS will print more copies when they eventually get control of Activision?
Hopefully something good can come from this acquisition, for PS players I mean.
@CaptD bit late on this… but it’s worth every penny mate. It took me a couple of playthroughs to fully appreciate (as I’m a natural dodger not a parryer) but once it clicked, it’s another level. Firmly in my top 10 games of all time.
Bought Destiny: The Collection for €20 in the PS Store sale. I also ordered Earth Defense Force 4.1 and Earth Defense Force 5 for €36 in total.
Been wanting to play Destiny for so long now, so I'm really excited to finally play it now. I also bought EDF 2017 on Xbox and it's so much mindless fun that I wanted to get the PS4 titles as well.
Because I've already begun my Halloween build up scary games October (a bit early I know!) I just added to my everlasting backlog with:
Mothmen 1966; Silver Chains; Welcome to Hanwell; infliction: Extended Cut
All for a combined total of less than 8 quid!!!
Anyone looking for some lesser known (arguable quality) horror scares should look up some reviews for the above.

Yeah so brought Prey to PS4. It will be intresting to see if I get around to play it sometime. Iam very glad to have it in my library at least becuse I understand it should be a well made game. Hm my backlog feels in general a little bit off at the moment btw.
Bought and now installing Battlefield 4 Premuim Edition from my Playstation 4's PSN store and all day been trying to to intall the Avengers game but the Avengers installing glitched so i have to do it over.
thankfully i was using a PSN card so not a total waste of money anyway.
Dunno what the heck is going on with the Avengers game taking so damn long to install.
