@Th3solution Thanks! I don't read much anymore though sadly, unless I don't have a TV or computer near me, which is pretty rare these days.

Oh I plan on playing Lost Legacy for sure, probably after I beat all of my E/E10 rated games first. I've got Ratchet & Clank, both Kingdom Hearts collections, World of Final Fantasy, 7 LEGO games, Knack 1 & 2, both MegaMan Legacy Collections, and finally Kung Fu Panda Showdown of Legendary Legends.

Lucky! I almost got NieR Automata for $25 during BF sales, but Fry's canceled my order and charged me $7.50 for no reason.

You're going to have a lot of fun with Ratchet & Clank for sure then @ToddlerNaruto

I unfortunately have to run through a second Mastermind difficulty run of Fracture But Whole since the trophy did not pop the first time for the plat. Shouldn't take more than 10 hours I figure with skipping cut scenes and knowing where to go. Other than that it will probably just be replaying Bayonetta on PS3 and mixing in some Fifa 18 on PS4 till Xmas games arrive.

@vegeta11 That's some dedication right there. If a trophy doesn't pop for me, I'll just give up on the platinum altogether. I'll not solely replay a game for the platinum. But power to you!

@Quintumply i love this game. I don't know what part of the world you live in, but playing this game while it raining/snowing outside feels amazing. Enjoy it 😃.
@DerMeister welll I suggest you keep MGS for a later time because missions locales will get repetitive as well as travesal, so it won't help with your open world fatigue. As for Batman, side quests are varied will keep the gameplay fresh, one my favorite games on PS4, have fun!

I can talk for hours about TLOU and Bloodborne

@Jorjk I appreciate the suggestion. It's already kinda on the back burner at the moment, since I have plenty of time sink games.

I recently finished Ratchet & Clank too. It's such a fun game. Definitely in my top 5 for the series.

I finished The Frozen Wilds and it's really amazing, explained even more what happened in the past and the new machines are really cool.

Now i started South Park: The Fractured but Whole.

Alienation.
What a great game. Highly addictive. Only started it a couple of days ago, but I must be nearing 10 hours by now.
I'm playing solo, so I wonder whether or not I'll be able to beat it on my own, as some missions have been a real struggle.
Definitely one of the better PS+ offerings.

@Fight_Teza_Fight I don’t think NA got Alienation on PS Plus. Bummer. What month was that?

Fight_Teza_Fight

@Th3solution Did a quick google. It was May. Think that was the month NA got Abzu instead. I remember being happy about it, as I already bought it in a sale a month prior.

@Fight_Teza_Fight Oh yeah, I remember now. I haven’t played Abzu yet, but I was actually happy with that choice as well. I wonder why Sony does the occasional regional differences in some of the PS Plus IGC games. Maybe it has to do with differences in sales and popularity of different games in NA vs Europe? Or it could be just that my theory is correct that the Sony executives just put a bunch of games on a dartboard, get drunk, and throw darts at the games to choose which to include for the upcoming month.

I just finished Just Cause 3 (free on PS+ a few months back) Playing Battlefront II for, like 5 minutes a day, Destiny 2, and Gran Turismo. Don't know what I should start next. Batman Arkham Asylum, Infamous Second Son, Until Dawn (for the plat), Shadow of Mordor, or Metal Gear V...

Splat

Finished Wolfenstein 2 and started the first one. I really should have played these games sooner good times.

@jproche44 All those are good games. I’d personally say MGS V and Batman Arkham Asylum are the best ones of the bunch though. I just finished Shadow of Mordor, which I quite liked, but it basically borrowed from Arkham Asylum’s combat system so you should play the Batman game first. Until Dawn was a very pleasant surprise for me, and I would like to get the plat too but there’s just too many other games to play. I managed to get the gold for saving everybody but it would be interesting to see the ending for having everyone die. And Infamous SS is a good solid game, probably better than it gets credit for. It’s a good list you have to choose from!

Odin Sphere PS4 - what an absolute treat. The visuals are impressive and the disgaea lite menu stuff adds an essential metagame of cooking, gardening and Alchemizing. Theres a rhythm to the combat which is kind of like diablo of all games and 5 hours in and cant wait to play some more tomorrow. I know its been rated highly by Pushsquate already and its easily the best 2d sidescrolling arpg Ive ever played (its the only one I think). The story has a decent over arching story but its definity rooted in the last gens of gaming.

ARMS - Easily my favourite switch game. We are having a tournament on new years eve - bringing back memories of the mario kart snes new years party when I was dead young. I wouldnt buy it as a single player, you need 2 sets of controllers to enjoy it properley. And play it with motion controls that actually work amazingly.

Got myself stuck into The Witcher 3 - this is going to be on my New Years list to finish this year. Only a few hours in so hard to tell. I have started the game in Death March difficulty which may be a mistake as combat seems pretty challenging but I guess it is teaching me the ropes. Anyone got any advice?

Gravity Rush 2. There's so much in the game that turns me off (bugs, bad controls, pop in), but for some reason I keep getting back. And that's because of the game's unresistable charm.

All this GOTY talk has me motivated to play all these games. I was able to sink my teeth into a couple more today —
I started Gravity Rush 2 and so far so good. It’s a bit of a shock coming from NieR to this much more light-hearted feeling game. Kat is cutesy and fun, whereas the protagonists in NieR are more serious and ruthless and the story more somber than GR feels so far.
I was enjoying my opening hours of GR2, but felt like I needed a break from open world, mission-driven, marker-chasing, combat-centric experiences and wanted to chill with a low intensity story based game so I switched over to What Remains of Edith Finch. This is a game I bought on sale purely due to the GOTY hype it has created. I was not disappointed. I was mesmerized for 3 hours straight and skipped meals to complete it because it was so immersive. Basically it is Gone Home on steroids, with a better story and much better gameplay and presentation, but it’s the closest thing I can compare it to. But that comparison doesn’t do it justice. It is much more unique than a standard walking sim. It deserves the praise it gets, and I think it would nestle in at #5 on my GOTY list now. As for GR2, at 2 hrs in its too early to tell, but it is looking pretty good so far. It has an alluring captivation all its own.

Everybody's Golf. It was one of the many games I got for Christmas and I've found myself totally addicted to it.
