@johncalmc well done on finally getting that elusive last Mass Effect trophy. I’m gonna be playing it myself in a few months so will keep your trials and tribs in mind 👍

Congrats @RogerRoger, I do like a trophy list that leaves you feeling good about what they did there. Seems like you made pretty quick work of it too.

@johncalmc Well done, you have earned your plaque on the legends wall in the citadel.

@RogerRoger Congrats on being one with the force.

@AgentCooper
Oh well done! That's a nice one to add to your list, it's like they took all the good stuff from the first game and condensed it. And a pretty good showcase for the PS5 with its flashy cutscenes and quick loads - was one of the first I got on the new console as well.
But remember with great(er) processing power comes great(er) processing responsibility...
Ahem.

Congrats @AgentCooper, yeah a really good game that. Although smaller in scope than Spider-man I ended up enjoying a fair bit more. Here’s to many more PS5 plats on your profile 🍻

@AgentCooper Congrats, tis a very good game.
I did like the 60fps ray tracing mode and it has been my best experience of the power of the PlayStation which should never be underestimated.

@johncalmc Good job on the ME platinum. I also have that trophy so must have done enough of the game to qualify... somehow.

@RogerRoger Nice work, congrats. Can't wait to play that myself one day, hopefully soon.

@AgentCooper Great job, congrats on MM. I thought they did a great job with that and it made me happy to be back in the Spider-verse.

@render @RogerRoger @AgentCooper Thanks guys. I think the worst thing for me near the end was trying to be methodical and clear up a planet at a time, but almost every character wants you to get get/do stuff on a couple of different planets so you end up spending so much time going backwards and forwards, over and over again. I think if I played it on PS4, a large chunk of the final playtime would have been watching loading screens.
Anyway, on the topic of Star Wars congrats on your plat for Jedi: Survivor @RogerRoger. Good to know there are still no requirements for difficulty, I'm sure I'll get it a some point down the road.

And kudos to @johncalmc and @AgentCooper for their respective plats of two outstanding games.

#60 - Marvel Midnight Suns

A game I enjoyed much more than I thought I would. All but one trophy achieved on my very thorough first play through and then one annoying trophy that necessitated a rushed “story mode” difficulty half play through.

#163 Dredge (PS5)
Chill little suspenseful indie fishing game, has that compelling tendency that keeps me playing - always one more thing I wanted to get done. Pretty simple trophy list with only a little (couple of hours) post game grind. Enjoyed it, glad I picked it up.
@18 hours according to profile.

@Thrillho
Well done! And good to see another who enjoyed it.

@Thrillho @sorteddan congrats guys, two games I intend on playing at some point too. I’ll keep that rushed half playthrough of Marvels Midnight Suns in mind when I make start too 👊

@Thrillho Good show, I've heard good things about midnight suns.
@sorteddan Top stuff. Dredge is on my list as it seems quite unique although I don't know too much about it as I've tried to avoid all reviews/discussions etc..

@AgentCooper @colonelkilgore @CaptD @render
Thanks all.
For those interested I'd say maybe wait for a sale. It's fairly short and I can't see it really having much replay value. It is enjoyable though and certainly something a bit different.

Thrillho

Thanks guys. It’s well worth playing if you’re thinking about it and I bet it’s one that goes on sale regularly as it didn’t do well commercially.

@colonelkilgore that last trophy was due to the fact one is for reaching full light ability and one for full dark. You build that up by using specific abilities in battle or responding in conversations so it is technically possible to do in one run but you’d need a 400 point swing. Much much easier to rush NG+ instead.

A quick word on two platinums I've managed to grab in between playing Elden Ring and Bloodborne again (at the same time for some stupid reason):

UNTITLED GOOSE GAME
I'm absolutely in love with this. The most quintessentially English game I've played since Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, although it's slightly different in tone. The platinum is a honking good time, but the time trials are genuinely tough; grab a co-op partner and train them in the way of the goose if you're going for them.

TCHIA
What a refreshing experience this was. I didn't even mind the ultra-collectathon needed for the platinum, because I loved exploring this setting. So much passion has gone into making this game and recreating a corner of the world that clearly means so much to the devs. It felt like a holiday.

Well done all on your recent trophy exploits!

Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.

Congrats @Gremio108
Glad to hear you found a couple you really connected with. I've heard mixed reports of the Goose game but wasn't aware of the high level of challenge involved. Tchia looks to be a pleasant chill experience I may get to when I need something milder to focus on.

Cornaboyzzz

Well it's been a while ! And I've been busy. But first of all, congrats for all the plats that I've missed.

#350 Super Stardust Portable - I'm not into Shoot'em ups but I wanted to try this one. Quick and pretty easy thanks to the rewinds, but definitely not my kind of game.

#351 A Plague Tale : Innocence - A very nice AA game from a French studio (), the mechanics with the rats are interesting and even if the characters are sometimes annoying, I enjoyed it.

#352 Spirit of the North - This one was average I'd say. Quick and easy, but a bit too basic for me to really get into it.

#353 Untitled Goose Game - I can see that @Gremio108 just had this plat too, congrats ! A really funny game, the third speedrun was a bit of a pain but the rest was okay. A good laugh.

Gremio108

@sorteddan Don't get me wrong about Goose Game, the platinum is plain sailing until you hit the last two time trials (@Cornaboyzzz I struggled with the fourth one as well as the third, that bloody vase!) but you'd soon have them sussed.

Tchia would be the perfect game to play on those days where it's so hot outside you'd rather stay in and play games. Sit in your speedos and pour a sangria and you'll feel like you're on holiday. That approach didn't have quite the same effect for me in March, sadly, but it did give the postman something to think about.

Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.
