#315 Darksiders Genesis - Definitely not as great as "classic" Darksiders games, but a nice twist on the formula. A bit harder than I expected, but it was okay.

@Cornaboyzzz well done buddy, I have the first three games in the backlog but haven’t picked up Genesis as of yet. I guess it’ll depend on how invested in the world of Darksiders I get while playing the trilogy.

@Cornaboyzzz I liked the game a lot but the platinum was a little too much for me unfortunately.

@colonelkilgore Genesis is very different but you probably already know this. 2 is easily the best one though!

@Voltan yeah I watched a review on 2 (see below) that was so glowing in its praise that I bought the whole trilogy. I will want to play the original first of course… but it’s the sequel I’m really looking forward to for sure.

@Voltan he did at that 🤣… in all honesty I don’t expect to enjoy it as much as him but, when someone does react that kinda way about a game (or film, book etc) it does catch my attention.

A smaller update this week. Just two more, because of Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite dropping right after one another.

#88 Virginia - can't say I enjoyed this one much. Another studio I don't think I'll bother with after this and Last Stop which I played on Game Pass.

#89 Zero Escape: The Nonary Games - this was fantastic. After finishing 999 last week I went straight into the sequel, Virtue's Last Reward, and it's every bit as good as it. Maybe more of a mind **** of a story. Highly recommended.

I platinumed Spyro 3: Year Of The Dragon yesterday. Easiest of the three games and I'm glad they dropped the 100% completion for it as I got a bug that meant I couldn't achieve it anyway. Even though I spaced them out I was a bit Spyro'd out by the end but the young child in me was chuffed to finally have them all completed.

@ScarletSpidey Beating that frog/lava boss on Spyro 2 without taking a hit in order to get the platinum was ridiculously tough!

@RogerRoger I did all three spread out over 8 months and it was still a bit much ha!

@Thrillho I can't even remember if I did it legit, or if I went back once I got the superflame.

I got the platinum in Yakuza Like A Dragon.

If it's a typical Yakuza game I imagine that'll have been quite a time commitment!

Got the platinum for Hellblade. Fairly simple job as long as you're thorough in looking for the collectibles, or use a guide.

As for the game itself, it's very good and quite unlike anything else I've played. I must admit though, I didn't quite get the ending. I probably should have paid closer attention.

Just finished and got the plat for Persona 5 Royal after a mighty 190 hours!
