By now, you were probably expecting to read our full Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls review. Unfortunately, we’re not going to bring you our final thoughts until after launch.
Given the live service, online nature of this superhero fighter, Sony has decided to withhold review code until launch day, when the game’s multiplayer servers will go online.
While that means our coverage will be delayed, it means we’ll be playing alongside you on public launch day servers. It’s likely we would have held our scored review until after release to test these anyway.

Not having access to the game in its offline environment does mean things will take longer, as we’re still yet to go hands-on with characters like Deadpool – and haven’t come close to understanding the depth of the gameplay just yet.
We’ll also need to spend time playing through the single player campaign, and exploring all of the modes.
Obviously it’s tricky to put a timeline on these things, but tentatively we should have a review early next week.
