Mutazione PS4

$6.99/£5.24 (-65%)

Mutazione is a really effective adventure game that thrives on the interpersonal drama between its ensemble cast of characters. Playing as a young girl, you move into a small and unusual community and interact with everybody, getting to know them over the course of the story. While the gameplay is fairly limited, the real attraction here is the narrative and the characters. If you're after a cosy story with an emotional hit, this comes recommended.

Paradise Killer PS5

$4.99/£3.99 (-75%)

If you're looking for something wildly different, Paradise Killer is a fantastic option. This game places you down on an open world island in order to solve the mystery surrounding a mass murder. The hook is that the end result is entirely of your making; you're free to explore, talk to suspects, and find evidence, with no hints other than your own discoveries. More than any other detective game, this one gives you total agency over the investigation and the trial that follows, with full responsibility for tracking down the truth resting with you. A fascinating, well-written game that oozes with style to boot — especially on PS5, where neat DualSense use and ray tracing bring the island alive.

Thank Goodness You're Here! PS5

$9.99/£7.49 (-50%)

Set in a fictitious Yorkshire town, Thank Goodness You're Here! is probably the best, and certainly the most ridiculous, portrayal of England in games. While waiting to meet with the mayor of Barnsworth, you help out dozens of people in its community with their bizarre problems, leading you through a linear but varied journey packed with laughs. Its gameplay may be simple, but this short adventure will live long in your memory thanks to great voice work and visual gags you won't be able to forget.
