We already know that Sony is hosting its own keynote ahead of this year's Tokyo Game Show, though it's unclear precisely what the publisher will be showing off. Kojima Productions has just announced its own presentation later in the month, so whether we'll see Death Stranding at Sony's show as well, we're not sure.
Either way, Hideo Kojima will be in Japan to host a stage show on his mysterious new game, and will be joined by the cast of the Japanese version. It's set for 23rd September.
Again, details are thin on exactly what we'll see here -- it could potentially be brand new footage, but that doesn't seem all that likely. With Sony in attendance as well, it's possible some new information on Death Stranding will come out of TGS, so it'll definitely be worth keeping an eye on.

It probably won't happen but id love him to drop an early 2019 release date
more questions and even less answers
Some good chat with new interesting info I suppose?
Possibly a trailer?
There'll be a live birth where Kojima delivers the baby himself. He'll then hold the baby up to the audience, Lion King style, while a trailer plays. It'll be nuts.
I don't think so. they may show the previous trailer in Japanese.
Kojima would come to the stage and talk about connections and other repetitious talks. I can't wait for more information about the game, but Kojima invariably just want to play with us. I'm done with his mystery.
It'll be perfect.
Still, I might skip out on watching, though. At the moment I've already seen enough of this game to convince me that I'll fall in love with it.
@pbernoos agree.
it's like J.J. abrams "mystery box" fun and intresting at first but just get's tiresome the longer it goes on without any sollid answers.
i want to be hyped for this but i just can't without any sort of sollid idea what it's about.
@nessisonett right, I'll prepare the brain bleach then. What you've described is pure nightmare fuel.
I hear it will be Kojima in a glass cube sniffing his own farts, while Geoff Keighley watches from the outside & applauds.
All I want is gameplay. No moody, cryptic trailers just show us what type of game it actually is and what the mechanics are.
@Ichiban @nessisonett @NintendoFan4Lyf I can't decide which comment is best, so you all win !
Hope it's an actual playthrough this time...
While interesting, I've enough of teaser trailers already....
