You may or may not remember a team-based shooter called Raiders of the Broken Planet. It launched on PlayStation 4 all the way back in September of last year, and to be totally honest, we didn't even realise.
But we're going to assume that we haven't missed much, as the game's actually relaunched under a new name. It's now called Spacelords and it's free-to-play, but it's still a shooter with specialised characters, weapons, levelling mechanics, and unlockable upgrades. The crux of the game is still cooperative play, but other players can join up with the enemy and attempt to sabotage your mission. You can download it starting today on PS4.
According to developer MercurySteam, just about everything has been overhauled, including the progression system. On returning players, the press release reads "Raiders of the Broken Planet veterans will keep all the progress and ingame currency they have unlocked so far, and players who have invested in one or more campaigns will be compensated with one exclusive Elite Skin for each campaign they have purchased."
Will you be giving Spacelords a go? Question the trailer's choice of music in the comments section below.

Never heard of it and don't care, so... no, won't be giving it go.
I do like the character designs in this one. Might give it a shot.
I pre-ordered Raiders of the Broken Planet and have been giving it multiple chances since launch...definitely one of those good games ruined by some dumb decisions. Incredible art style and fun gameplay (although the control scheme takes a minute to get used to), but then also literally the most grindy game I’ve ever played and with a 1v4 mode that has given me some of the most unfair, frustrating moments I’ve ever had in a multiplayer game. After a year of complaining...hopefully this is now the game it always shoulda been!
Give it a shot, everyone!
Hmm.... Gonna be a no from me. Also i hated that monster magnet song back in the 90s and i still hate it now. So..... Double no.
I played the beta of the initial release and found it pretty dull, tbh.
Wow, an elite skin, for every campaign that came for 10€ each? This will surely please everyone who's put money into this game
