A fairly busy week again here at Push Square Towers, as the build up to the hotly anticipated No Man's Sky intensified, while we reviewed a handful of big games such as ABZU and Brut@l. We put out a ton of feature coverage, while there were rumours regarding Red Dead Redemption 2 yet again.
Reviews
ABZU - 9/10
ABZÛ is a triumph of exploration and atmosphere. Its gorgeous underwater playgrounds are a joy to explore thanks to its perfectly tuned controls, awe-inspiring visuals, and beautiful sound design. A somewhat predictable story does little to hamper what is otherwise an utterly unique and rapturous experience.
Batman: The Telltale Series - Ep 1: Realm of Shadows - 5/10
When it's obsessing over the broken politics of Gotham, this alternate take on DC's most famous franchise promises plenty – but lacklustre heroics and writing inconsistencies really drag it down. There's reason to be excited by some of the fictional deviations that the developer's taking, but they're yet to manifest themselves in any meaningful way, and the overemphasis on tired series tropes will draw many a groan. It's obviously too early to determine where this story is going to go, but our biggest concern right now is that Telltale isn't entirely sure either.

Feature: 6 Features PS4 Firmware Update 4.00 Must Include
Perhaps the biggest disappointment that can be levelled at the PlayStation 4 is that, three years after its original release, it still feels a bit like a launch console. Don't get us wrong: we absolutely adore the device – but there are some really obvious features that have been absent since launch, and we're not entirely sure why. Sony's updated the console, adding cool new functions like Share Play and Communities – but these have come at the expense of simple additions, like folders and external HDD support.
Talking Point: When Will the PS4K Neo Actually Be Announced?
The million dollar question: when will the PlayStation 4K – or Neo as it's perhaps better known – be announced? There was a thread on NeoGAF this week pondering how long Sony can possibly wait to reveal its upgraded hardware, and despite thinking long and hard about it, we've struggled to come up with an answer – opportunities are running out, after all.

Red Dead Redemption 2 for PS4 May Be Right Around the Corner
Who's ready to go west? We're not going to lie to you: we were born ready. And after a torturous wait which seems to have dragged on for almost as long as a black and white Western movie, it looks like Rockstar may be finally ready to announce Red Dead Redemption 2 for the PlayStation 4. Well, almost.
No Man's Sky's Day One PS4 Patch Changes the Entire Universe
Well, it all makes sense now, doesn't it? We're not referring to Team GB's characteristically slow start at the Olympic Games, but the hullabaloo surrounding early copies of No Man's Sky. Writing on the hotly anticipated title's website, Sean Murray has outlined the contents of the release's v1.03 patch – and it's bigger than even we expected.

So glad I stumbled across this site earlier this week. So refreshing compared to the filler content that occupies the likes of IGN. Forums are fun so far too.
Who cares, No Man's sky is here with a brand new update everything else doesn't matter see you in space!
