Well, it's not the Until Dawn sequel that we were all hoping for, but as fans of the fledgling franchise, we hope that forthcoming PlayStation VR spin-off Until Dawn: Rush of Blood delivers to the degree that it doesn't sully the burgeoning brand. To coincide with last night's press conference, Sony has released some new screens from the on-rails outing – and you'll spy a few familiar faces along the way.
For those out of the loop, this game's a rails shooter – quite literally. British-based developer Supermassive Games has built a ghost train based upon its surprisingly successful narrative-driven release, and you'll be able to ride it using PlayStation VR – offing the various undead enemies that threaten to derail your journey along the way. Visually it looks absolutely fine, and there's potential for some good jump scares here – we're just not sure where the longevity's going to come from.

I think this is going to be a massive hit if it launches with VR, October to January is going to be pretty epic.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi I'm 99.9% confident this will be a launch game.
If I get PSVR I'll get this as I loved the original on PS4...
PSVR: we're just not sure where the longevity's going to come from.
@get2sammyb Did you play it?>
@Sanquine Sadly not.
I love horror, and I love roller coasters. Will be a fun game at launch.
"Hey guys, Until Dawn sold far better than we'd hoped. Can you have a PSVR game ready in six months?"
well the fact that only 1 player gets to wear the VR kinda deflate the fun of this being a party game... It's only fun when all of us get freak-out together....
